if it is not working it is most likely an addon conflict. this occurs when two addons change the same file. please turn off all other addons, then restart l4d2 and try playing with only this addon. If it work then it is definately a conflict, if not i will need to see what has to be fixed.

Why is this not working? Everytime I try playing a single player server and it never works!

try reinstalling this mod by
1.unsubscribing
2; going to steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop and deleting 140839938.vpk
3.resubscribing.

try one of my other addons with medium or ite as they have less infected. the reasn for the lag is there are more infected at the finales.

at the end fo campains lags like hell

are you restarting l4d2 after turning off ofer mods? please try with just this mod on then restart. if that doesn't work try reinstalling this mod by

Can play with friends too, just need to set server to Host Local Server instead of Official Dedicated.

are you only using the ingame menu to tell you if it is conflicting? because for some reason it won't report conficts with my addons.

This mod is really good so far, but unfortunately, when over 1,000 hordes showed up, my game got Crashed/Lag at the Dark Carnival Fenale on single player.

you can as long as everyone has the same addons and you play on LAN or local server.

its another place to get mods. sometimes the steam workshop stops working, but any mod you install manualy will always work. the main software needed for left 4 dead 2 modding is a vpk opener. all addons for l4d2 are stored inside a vpk file. the one i use is

for my mods i only need a txt editor like notepad or the much better notepad++

for more complex mods you will need Photoshop or gimp for textures and 3dstudio max or blender for 3d modeling. if you want to create maps the l4d2 authoring tools available under the tools section in your steam library.how i started was i looked at other peoples mods to learn how they worked, but there are plenty of tutorials online like this one

Ok thanks. So what exactly am i doing on this site? is it just anther place to find and get Mods? Oh and another question. What kind of softwear do you use for moding and how could i get into it for looking at beginning gaming design?

do you only have addons from the workshop? if yes then try any mod from http://www.l4dmaps.com/l4d2/
it could just be a problem with the workshop.

Hey im haveing a problem and i was wondering if you awesome people on the steam network could help me out. I dont know when but after i was checking out and subscribing to some new mods the game in a way freaked out and now most of the new mods i subscribe to dont work or only the sound will work. And ones like this one wont even turn on. So i was wondering what ideas you guys have for me to try?

So I did Dark Carnival, this was my pipebomb usage: 129. So, uh, yeah, AWESOME MUCH!?

this addon changes the infected on every map
installation instructions
1. Click subscribe button on this page.
2. Wait for steam to download l4d2 workshop content
3. Play l4d2
4. At the main menu a red icon will appear next to add-ons. This is l4d2 loading the add-ons.
5. When the red icon disappears the add-ons are ready.
6. Click on add-ons
7. There will be a list of everything you have downloaded from the workshop.
8. Look for Super Hordes - No Bonus - No Special - Lite.
9. Check that there is a tick in the box to the left of Super Hordes - No Bonus - No Special - Lite.
10. If there is no tick click on the box
11. Check that Super Hordes - No Bonus - No Special - Lite is not coloured red.
12. That means that you have a similar add-on ticked and l4d2 cannot run two similar add-ons.
13. Turn off the other add-on by clicking the ticked box next to the other add-on.
14. Now play single player or survival.
15. Play any map you want, it should now have lots of infected.

It would be easy, but I don't know when i will be able to upload due to a horrible internet connection.

Would it be to much to ask if you could make a mod like this with a super hord and infinate ammo only. I like kinda just messing around with mods and i think it would be fun to have the specials in with it but also be able to have infinate ammo.
