It's a feature I definitely want to implement, it just takes time to do so. It could be much faster if it was done in code, but all logic is done in the map itselfs, which is pain to work with. You can of course try to edit the mod yourself if you want, all files are available on my github page.

is there still support for this addon? I have been playing and noticed stone is a very rare resource for my friend group. if no update was planned i was considering making the stone respawn my self but im kind of a novice programmer

It can be played as 1v1, but it will take more time for someone to win. Consider changing the time as described in the description.

The HP is set to 100 by default, there is definitely a function to change it, try to google it, gmod wiki will certainly have an answer. Custom weapons can be used, using SWEPs.

Changing the options in init.lua works, but I'm wondering why the HP doesn't go past 100?

--To change the time of the round, you need to have sv_cheats enabled, and then you can type "lua_run test( time )", where time is the number of seconds you wanna set your time to. So "lua_run test(1200)" sets the time to 20 minutes.

You need to get the rest of the files and make a custom copy of the gamemode. Then, for example, if you have a dedicated server, you can host it there. There is no way unfortunately how to edit an existing gamemode, you ma try to google something up however.

Thank you very much, I'm working on the resource respawning system now, already implemented it into trees. The movement speed is hardcoded into each class, so if you like high speed games, try to play as scavenger, he has 1.25x speed and can also mine faster.

One of the best game modes out there.

Could be easily the BEST game mode if there was some sort of iron refreshment or generator.

And also if you could edit the speed, because I feel like it's too fast and I'm a guy that's into fast movement and high mobility games.

The problem is not there for me.It's rather than the map is not very "alive" if you see what I mean. It would be nice if npc spawn and attack both teams or just expensive resources that appear in the middle thus creating more altercation between the teams. Or even, (I just got the idea) a building where the npc (as in moba) spawn and will attack the opposing team. In short, just more like said before alive. Otherwise your game mode is perfect as my friend says :winter2019happybulb:. (well, there maybe problems in what I said but I use google translation, it's excuse :winter2019neutralbulb:)

I'm glad to hear that! There's no way to turn off the damage to the tower now unfortunately, I didn't quite think situations like this would occur, so I only disabled damage to other team members.

Love the gamemode! My users love it. But we get this occasional troll/noob who will damage their own tower. Is there anyway to turn off team damage?

Have you checked if there isn't a conflict with your addons or server plugins? One thing that may break the classes is a admin or superadmin classes, as the class system uses those to differentiate between themselves. The class system needs rewriting as a whole. I don't know about the Dlib errors, but again, it may be conflicting with something.

Yes, that's because this mode uses palyer groups to differentiate from classes. I didn't realize at the time that it's addresing the admin and superadmin groups. It's a stupid mistake, so I need to make the server and client communicate in some other way.

so far you can only change time through a lua command, it is described in the description. And yeah, the mines don't detonate, I realized that they keep their HL2 preset which means jumping on NPC's and not players. I would need to create a custom lua entity to balance this out, so for now you can only throw them at the enemy. I'll take a look at the classes, but it never happened to me as far as I know. Thanks.

Yes and the only fix for it is reconnecting.

Also the mines don't detonate when enemies step on them.

A round-time changing convar would also be nice.

Well, it's work in progress, but it kinda makes me to give up in the first place. The way Hammer is situated is that you need to manually go through every single entity and add the output there. It's not that much hard, but it's pain. I went through every single tree using a regular notepad editor and now I have to do stones aswell. Because if I select all the entities together and then add the output, Hammer will decide to add the output to only one entity. So it's definitely something I want to do, but it's very time consuming.

Well I don't plan on adding a new resource type. Such thing would require new buildings, balancing and map availability. Maybe in some other map.
