Any chance of getting the ESP and/or BSA files for this mode as I'm trying to clean up my DATA folder and mods due to me getting a weird error 15 when steam loads mods

it looks good but I have over 255 mods and I cant have anymore due to the way I must launch skyrim it looks great i never got there sorry still got my thumbs up but you didnt make the cut to be kept

@luke_amasi - Hey mate thanks for the comment! Check the description above and follow the link to the updated version of this castle. Be sure to move your stuff out and un sub from this one before subbing to the updated version.

I also have a much bigger castle out, 'Greystone Castle' which you can find by clicking at the top of the page on 'Crim5on Ducks Workshop'. This shows all my mods I have released.

My descriptions are very detailed and they always mention if the mod is going to have changes in the future or not (excpet this page obviously because its an outdated version).

@ ϟƘƦƖןןΣ✘- Hey mate its near the base of the throat of the world (massive mountain where you have to see the greybeards in the game). There is a screenshot posted in the pics above to show the location. Also, follow the link provided in the description to go to the latest version of this mod as there are some nice improvements in that one :D

@ avranjkovina- I have heard from them but we are still exchanging formalities haha. They won't be in any rush to help it either, plus they are prob very busy. Forums I've checked haven't had a solution so far.

So for the people who have been waiting for this update I will just release it as a new mod. Not much else I can do, working with steam support may take a while and due to my internet issues the mod update has been put off for close to a month so its only right that I release it soon.

Have you heard from steam support? Did they say anthing? Also might try some forums where they talk about different types of errors etc.

Alright. Steam support isn't much help yet, so in the mean time I will release it as a new mod in the next few hours. I'll provide links of course, and If the original ever does work then I will update the original file as well. One lesson I am taking from this is to have the mod as close to 100% complete as possible, since updating may one day not be an option for that mod haha.

@ DigitalFlow- The exact error is 'failed to get details on an uploaded preview image'. Which is crap since I have not moved any files around nor changed any of the pics. I have updated 5 times so its not like its hard to do. I am very particular about file backups ect and even they do not work :(

extreme good looking castle nerly perfect but i miss one thing could you place a wardroble with false wall or some kind of secret door which guides into a secrt basement with a weapons room or something or a room with special stuff like unice weapons

If you plan to leave it after this and move on to another, just release it as a new mod
Mountain Castle "Final" we would have had to back up or remove all our belongings anyway.

Seems like steam didnt want to accept my mod update. I have backup files so I will try one of those... just have to redo a few things that hadn't been done in that file. So another delay it looks like. Better work with this one!

Pretty nice mod. Really like it. I Thane should have a keep and a few house gards (huscarls). Also, what makes the mod stand out is the realism. Its a good size and has a northern medieval look, not fantasy, which I think is important. A few NPCs and guards, then its perfect.

@ skloepfer789- Yea same creation kit bug still applies with other locations in Skyrim also. If running several mods load order is very important so shuffling them around a bit can help. Unfortunately theres not much that can be done on my side as its a CK bug. Sometimes even if you get load order and all other possible variables right- you still get a bug occuring with no logical explanation! If not my mod another house mod can do the same, I have noticed it popping up in other house mod comments. Eventually Bethesda will fix it, may just take time though they still have to get the vanilla version running crisp...

I mean that the walls are disapearing from locations around skyrim. The castle is all there, just when I load your mod other locations lose objects.

Duck, if you can make guards follow, there are already plenty of mods out there that force follwoers to wear what you give them. to solve one of the other questions.

@ skloepfer789- As I have written in my description-

A. The creation kit has a known bug that sometimes fails to load large statics. Simply re-load a save game or fast travel back and forth a few times as this is the best remedy until Bethesda release a official fix for it.

This mod seems to make walls, floors and other objects disapear from places around Skyrim. Like the Dawnstar Sanctuary, and player homes.

nice job! it would be nice if there was some natural light from windows coming into the place instead of torches every where. You should also have anual visitors to eat at those two huge tables, and drink in the basement. and make the libray look less crapy( sorry only way i know how to put it) but other wise this is my favorite house mod!

@Aiborne82 - Hey mate glad to hear you like my mod! As to the gaurds with armour you equip them, ill look into it. The next castle i have coming (70% complete so far!) I will try and see if I can do the armour with those gaurds not 100% sure Ill have it with this castle but you make an excellent suggestion and I will def give it a try! And as to the update release, Im waiting for my stupid internet to get connected its been such a hassle.. bit hard to update properly with no net haha.. Earliest next week Im hoping for the update. After that the next castle Im working on will be going full steam ahead!

Idk i just feel like if you made the guards able to follow you and equip armor wanted it would add like your own little faction. You could have you and your own little kingdom and soldiers support the war if you choose to join the Legion or Stormcloaks i dont know just a thought but otherwise this is my favorite mod!

Are the Guards in Nielhiem or wherever apart of the mod? because if so you should put guards inside the castle, like on the walls and patrolling and stuff like that

when you make tha guards in the next update you should make them able to equip armor you give them like followers and have them able to follow you like in Oblivion with the Battlehorn Castle expansion. Not only that but it is really cool!!!

Been testing out house mods and this one is the best! Only two suggestions: change some of the weapon racks to be able to hold shields (didn't see any that could but correct me please if im wrong!), and maybe some weapon racks/mannequins in the throne hall. Great mod, look forward to the update!
