this is like a sonic. It is no secret.it is even voluntary.this type of drawing that is called pixel art.it's old school nostalgia.I'm not too much for the game clones but if it is a good clone I see no inconvenience.

LoliConArtist 19. Juli 2014 um 6:10 Uhr
I'll do what ever i can to help fund the game so that it can be ported to the PSVita as well ^_^
Vaykor Val 19. Juli 2014 um 5:14 Uhr
Hey, Digger Nick. First off, I think its apparent from the voting process that a lot of people actually want this game so you got no say in it.

Second of all, learn to spell, ya bad grammar troll.

Cancer of gaming.

FauxFurry 4. Juli 2014 um 8:30 Uhr
Too bad that Freedom Planet wasn't ready for a July 4 launch. What better day could a game named Freedom Planet have as a release date than Independence Day?
agarpac 27. Juni 2014 um 20:01 Uhr
the demo version was awesome! :D
hope this exist on steam xD
Kistulot 24. Juni 2014 um 21:17 Uhr

Valzeras - Yeah, the summer sale would be a killer for us if we released on the 30th. We'd drown under the other discounted games, and most of our fans would be out of money at that point.

Our final release date is now July 19th. Details on our group page here: http://steamcommunity.com/games/FreedomPlanet/announcements/detail/1659889441798638058
Valzeras 20. Juni 2014 um 22:46 Uhr
I'm guessing that it's not gonna be 30th anymore due to summer sale?
NoVa🌛 16. Juni 2014 um 1:28 Uhr
Yeah, Android version would be nice too :P
(But without the need to use Google Play Store.. D:)
Juurus 14. Juni 2014 um 5:11 Uhr
Mobile version would be awesome!
Trident! 8. Juni 2014 um 20:45 Uhr
Best Sonic tribute ever!
T... 7. Juni 2014 um 17:23 Uhr
Is the June 30th date set in stone?
Kalhi 7. Juni 2014 um 16:11 Uhr
hope to see it at e3 2014
raf.fae.lino 5. Juni 2014 um 14:47 Uhr
You have my full support for this game. I'm waiting for it since July 2013, I can't wait to play it!
Aegix Drakan 5. Juni 2014 um 9:30 Uhr
Delaying release until after E3 is a good idea.

I've seen another Developer put up a kickstarter in the midst of the E3 week....and it did not go well for them, no matter how awesome their game was.

Glad to see you guys aren't making the same mistake. :P
Aegix Drakan 5. Juni 2014 um 9:29 Uhr
Just tried the demo and I LOVE THE HELL OUT OF IT. Put me down as a day 1 buyer and I'm really sad I missed the kickstarter. :(

My ONLY complaint is how....Immobile Carol the Wildcat feels. She REALLY needs a better double jump.

I get Carol is supposed to rely on her bike, wall jump and the jump pads (you really need to make it more clear she can use those as more than just gem dispensers BTW. I only realized what they were by reading the readme), Carol feels like she's missing a little...something.

Simply giving her a better double jump (either making it go farther forward or upwards) would go a long way to making her more fun. Just my 2 cents.

Aside from that, I loved the demo. Playing as Lilac feels like a bizarre and wonderful version of Sonic meets Megaman Zero meets.....I dunno, something else that's awesome, and Carol feels a lot like Zero, but with the ability to roll really fast. XD

This game gives me a cancer..for waiting.
I can't hold on until the release date T _ T
fendt7242 23. Mai 2014 um 12:35 Uhr
man the wait is killing me
Black hand commando [NOD] 23. Mai 2014 um 12:15 Uhr
I'am looking forward.

Xanmoas - We love them! Go nuts. :) It's always cool to see how different players approach each area of the game.

Blake Narrow - You pretty much hit the nail on the head there. We also had some concerns with E3 and Mario Kart 8 coming up at the end of this month, so June should hopefully give us more breathing space.
Xanmoas 16. Mai 2014 um 5:44 Uhr
this might be a dumb question but how do you feel about let's plays of this game?
Blake Narrow 12. Mai 2014 um 5:27 Uhr
I think pushing the release date had a lot to do with Indie Game Magazine putting this game as May's or June's featured game. That's a lot of press coverage, so putting a bit more shine on the game before it's release could go a long way with sales.

I'm not sure why people keep saying "voted" when the game got Greenlit around a year ago or so. I don't think you *can* vote anymore <_<

And no, I don't believe you get a free copy for voting before it got Greenlit; no such promises like that were made. Honestly, promises like those seem incredibly shady, anyway, since it's not like you have a binding contract anywhere to prevent the people making the promise from going back on it after the fact (which I hear actually happened in one case, although I forget the game whose developers did that).
Sleek 2. Mai 2014 um 0:54 Uhr
Calling this "fresh" makes me question this. Nothing "Fresh" about it since it's OBVIOUSLY a Sonic remake. Several of the levels/stages looks waaay similar to the Sonic games and you can easily see the motion of Tails in one of the characters with the way her tail moves. But even saying this I would probably still play this game. Even for a remake or reusing models and all that I think the characters are cute and I have yet to play a Sonic game where a character digs like that. So yes I'll be voting for this....
