...What...? Steam...Doesn't do weekend releases?
...Nooo.... ;_; I was looking forward to it so much. This game's release feel like such a tease! XD
Second of all, learn to spell, ya bad grammar troll.
Cancer of gaming.
hope this exist on steam xD
Our final release date is now July 19th. Details on our group page here: http://steamcommunity.com/games/FreedomPlanet/announcements/detail/1659889441798638058
(But without the need to use Google Play Store.. D:)
I've seen another Developer put up a kickstarter in the midst of the E3 week....and it did not go well for them, no matter how awesome their game was.
Glad to see you guys aren't making the same mistake. :P
My ONLY complaint is how....Immobile Carol the Wildcat feels. She REALLY needs a better double jump.
I get Carol is supposed to rely on her bike, wall jump and the jump pads (you really need to make it more clear she can use those as more than just gem dispensers BTW. I only realized what they were by reading the readme), Carol feels like she's missing a little...something.
Simply giving her a better double jump (either making it go farther forward or upwards) would go a long way to making her more fun. Just my 2 cents.
Aside from that, I loved the demo. Playing as Lilac feels like a bizarre and wonderful version of Sonic meets Megaman Zero meets.....I dunno, something else that's awesome, and Carol feels a lot like Zero, but with the ability to roll really fast. XD
I can't hold on until the release date T _ T
Blake Narrow - You pretty much hit the nail on the head there. We also had some concerns with E3 and Mario Kart 8 coming up at the end of this month, so June should hopefully give us more breathing space.
And no, I don't believe you get a free copy for voting before it got Greenlit; no such promises like that were made. Honestly, promises like those seem incredibly shady, anyway, since it's not like you have a binding contract anywhere to prevent the people making the promise from going back on it after the fact (which I hear actually happened in one case, although I forget the game whose developers did that).
