About Fallout 4, the new mod flag (probably made to satisfy the complaints of exactly ONE person) has ticked me off. :Uranium::Uranium::Uranium:

Even "other" mods are subject to it, and I lost the ability to make progress with a character with absolutely no warning.

I am going to be making a "protest mod" It will make the samllest, dumbest, and most purely atmospheric change.

I shall call it, Disable all achievements (descr. for getting rid of those pesky achievements and your progress on them)

I encourage other workshop users to do the same. :synchronous:

FYI (for everyone who reads this stuff) I WILL be gettting Fallout 4 on Launch day, I WILL be modding it ASAP (as soon as I can publish mods).
If CK modding is immediately availabe, I'm going to use the strategy guide (lightly) to figure out if ANY portion of the crafting system needs a boost (for completion's sake).

I will then be making those alterations in the spirit of zero-to-minimal exploit, just like this one..

If you guys love Bethseda I WILL be hooking you up!!!:Gems:

*recipie names in mod are named descriptively within mod... not something you guys would see*
Sam Fissure  [author] Sep 30, 2015 @ 9:29am
IF THIS IS A PURELY CK PROBLEM... I have made a guide to troublehooting load-order to figure it out. look it up, very useful.
Sam Fissure  [author] Sep 30, 2015 @ 9:29am
Oh, if you installed the ADD ON for Ores or Ores ++ that I made, other smithing mods, ones that ALTER the smithing tree MAY conflict. ALSO, Ores and Ores++ DO conflict with one another. That doesn't mean much, based on load order Skyrim makes a choice on what passes or fails. You just lose one mod (and assorted items :blast: ) and gain the other :woo::) (and the ability to make other items in the case of going to ORES++ or losing it going to ORES.)
Sam Fissure  [author] Sep 30, 2015 @ 9:24am
This mod doesn't do much at all, I seriously doubt it's the conflict. It's a whopping 24 Kb! (or so) Adds ZERO new items, just new recipies. The recipie names are quite unique (not named after what they do but named descriptively and designed to alphabetically sort for convenience). If you are using a combination of Nexxus and CK mods there is a strong possibility of a crash, CK workshop mods disable upon conflict with one another.
:DDDDD Sep 29, 2015 @ 4:56pm
I don't know if it is this mod, but when I installed several new mods, including this one, skyrim crashes right after the Bethesda thing shows ;-;
BigMushroomPenisMan 2 Sep 7, 2015 @ 2:01pm
Nevermind I just had to restart skyrim

Where could I smelt the gear? I have steel smelting but can not turn gear into ore anywhere.
sosbro Jul 24, 2015 @ 5:01pm
Found the books. No errors of sorts.
Sam Fissure  [author] Jul 6, 2015 @ 2:17pm
Updated mod sosbro. Added book to Temple of Kynareth (ground near wounded soldier) Will add book elsewhere, seems to be a bt of a chore to do it.
Thinking about other additions, but will have to figure it out :AffinitySupremacy:
Sam Fissure  [author] Jul 4, 2015 @ 8:29pm
<General announcement> I've made some alterations to the book, I have not yet uploaded it. If, for some reason, you are attached to the book as it is (new one is better) don't take the next update. After I publish the changed mod, the book may no longer be wherever you have it. This is UNLIKELY but POSSIVBLE. If you wish to regain it, it will be located in several differen high-traffic areas, and, if I can do it, the Temple of Kynareth in whiterun.

The update will likely happen on Monday this week.

I am thinking of becoming a mod-publisher again, so be on the lookout for new "micromods" if you like my work. :Gems:
sosbro Jul 4, 2015 @ 6:53pm
Ah. Didn't know it wasn't canon. Still think it'd be a great read. I'll et you know if I find it, or don't.

But yeah, making more then one copy could be great. Makes it seem more "lore freindly" I guess, by showing "everyone" in skyrim can read this book.
Sam Fissure  [author] Jul 4, 2015 @ 9:07am
Thanks for looking for the book though! I had no idea people were looking for it and not finding it! I'll make a second copy and put it down somewhere else in Whiterun.
Sam Fissure  [author] Jul 4, 2015 @ 9:05am
And no, you won't find it on the internet... my mod isn't popular enough that it would be.
I kinda wrote it myself. It's allright, not nearly as good as some of the ingame books, better than others bc there are some wacky in-game books.

My biggest struggle was making the book lore-friendly while also providing a tiny bit of atmosphere to a very tiny mod (if anyone is interested, my mod takes up about 24ish kb of space lol )
Sam Fissure  [author] Jul 4, 2015 @ 9:00am
You can try near the Whiterun Smelter/Forge, or it could be somewhere in the temple of Kynareth. The book has no bearing on what you can do, it doesn't unlock anything, it's just atmospheric.

I highly doubt it will be in the Temple, that was my first choice and I just couldn't make that work.

I'm going to crack open this mod in a day or two to see if I can find it for you (not saving or uploading changes, just having a look around)

Right now my PC is undergoing full cloud backup, so I'm going to be a little while.
sosbro Jul 3, 2015 @ 12:10am
I've been looking for the book "The Edict Against Quicksilver", but can't seem to find it. Where is it located?

Can't find it on the internet either.
Sam Fissure  [author] May 30, 2015 @ 7:17pm
Thanks! Actually, there WASN'T a modding conflict, I wanted to create an addition to both Ores and Ores++ on the perk tree that would explain the mod in a convenient location (the tree). However, when I looked at how to do that I noticed that it affected a different part of the program/game. Basically a DIFFERENT mod that edited the tech tree MIGHT cause either mine OR theirs to not work. Considering that people often run multiple smithing mods, the probability of someone subbing to both mine, and something that would conflict was actually quite high. Rather than robbing someone of a good mod (either one) I decided to make an optional addition.
Tim the Enchanter May 30, 2015 @ 6:21am
I have been using this mod for sometime now and so far so good with it which means to me that you put in most of your work at the beginning when you were creating the mod which tells me you are devoted to this type of thing which is why you created your first re smelting mod, then you created a more updated version of that mod and lastly you decided to take the second mod and make it so that you can get it with your smithing perks so that the bug with other mods would stop completely.

I also wanted to comment on another thing i think you should add in something that allows us to tan at the tanning rack any type of armor that is made from leather like a hide shield, leather armor set, Hide armor set, and so on and so forth.

Thank you again for putting hard work into this mod so that everyone can have a better time with skyrim and have a more realistic skyrim set before them
Sam Fissure  [author] Dec 2, 2013 @ 10:19am
Amazing how I promise to alter stuff and it doesn't happen!!! OK, I have a looooooong personal wishlist of changes that will :Uranium:NOT:Uranium: affect the functions of the mod and if I EVER use my time wisely enough things will look different at the Smelter None of the Recipies will vanish, but they will stop displaying all the time, this means the menu will get less crowded but all of them will work. (like at the tanning Rack, you can :Uranium:ALWAYS:Uranium::Uranium: make leather from a snowfox pelt, but it does :Uranium:NOT:Uranium: show if you don't have a pelt. This will not include the amalgamation recipies or at least one recipie per perk unlock, so that you can always see if the mod is working when using the smelter) I plan on creating an in-game notice that is lore-friendly, worthless, but easy to obtain at a smelter
Sam Fissure  [author] Jul 30, 2013 @ 3:24pm
FYI looking at the top item-recycling-mod in the workshop. (not changing anything major and definitely NOT copying that mod. different philosophy in that one) I am making an alteration in the next month or so to clean up the smelter menu. :Uranium::Uranium::Uranium: Everything will STILL work:Uranium::Uranium::Uranium: but the menu will be clearer. I may, may, take it one step further and make a seperate mod to clean up the general smelter menu (as in several "ingot" recipies that show all of the time will no longer show up unless you have the material) this should make trips to the smelter faster and more efficient.
Sam Fissure  [author] May 28, 2013 @ 2:20pm
Added a new micro-mod, changes the skill tree descriptions to reflect what is in this mod and the other one (the ores portion) if you have a mod that alters the smithing tree you shouldn't sub to that mod, otherwise it is a useful addition. It's seperate to prevent conflicts for subscribers with altered smithing trees. more on the page.
Sam Fissure  [author] Apr 14, 2013 @ 4:36pm
OK, I have finished my other mod, it basically (very basically) takes all the standard bandit/household junk and lets you create other items with it. IF YOU WANT TO SUBSCRIBE YOU NEED TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM HERE, the mod contains everything this mod does minus the book and the dwemer ingot yield. I have a fix for that. THIS MOD WILL OVERLAP, only one will work if you sub to both...
Sam Fissure  [author] Apr 3, 2013 @ 7:23pm
Thanks.
Bore Ragnarok Apr 3, 2013 @ 4:57pm
Looks like a good mod. Subscribing.
Sam Fissure  [author] Apr 3, 2013 @ 11:02am
FINAL UPDATE MADE!!!!
Sam Fissure  [author] Mar 27, 2013 @ 7:03am
Thank you, I appreciate it. I'll actually have time to do it soon, but lately it has been snags and other such.
Humanman Mar 26, 2013 @ 6:37pm
I like the idea of this mod I hope you continue to work on it.
Sam Fissure  [author] Mar 13, 2013 @ 7:40am
7 days, both additions, final additions to mod. next mod, 14-28 days depending on free time
Sam Fissure  [author] Mar 13, 2013 @ 7:39am
Orcish for ORE btw, but you get more from orcish breakdown so I expect it will work fine
Sam Fissure  [author] Mar 9, 2013 @ 3:21pm
Expect to see Orcish breakdown in both mods, and I won't abandon this one because not everyone likes a long list of options at the local smelter
Sam Fissure  [author] Mar 9, 2013 @ 3:19pm
I have about 2-3 weeks left of work on my next mod. I have rolled this one into it as the base for the mod, I can't replace this mod with that one because it is radically larger, some of the recipies have been moved (they still perform as they are supposed to), and I don't want to mess people up. There are some transition issues (I think) with moving from this one to the other. Game IDs might not match up for Liquid quicksilver and Cyan between the mods. I have to do a few manual changes to game IDs The new recipies need tweaking as well, it depends on rarity, rather than skill, to enforce the crafting recipies, and the recipies themselves won't level the dragonborn. (all worked in)
Sam Fissure  [author] Feb 23, 2013 @ 5:45pm
FYI, I will take requests here for this mod. I'm not going to strengthen or nerf anything but adding Orcish breakdown is possible.
rifldad Jan 15, 2013 @ 2:49pm
I have asked many times for a mod like this, all I was asking for was smelt to ore, the extra stuff I will figure out---Thanks
Sam Fissure  [author] Jan 15, 2013 @ 11:45am
If there is some demand I will be adding other things.. Please let me know if you like the in-game book. It's staying in the mod but I would like to know if anyone reads it.
Sam Fissure  [author] Jan 15, 2013 @ 11:37am
THANKS!

Smart idea, mate. Simple, but smart. I'll let you know how it turns out.
