I have been wainting for DE to make one of these for AGES and dont really understand why they havent yet. but i would be 100% for this

I like the design, And i would use it, but only for looks... I dont really use whips

Maybe make it a skin instead to make it more versitile
Or if not, allow to purchase the same thing but only as a skin not as a melee weapon.

Just throwing this out here to make my support clear: I'd much prefer this as a whip skin than a totally new weapon.
It looks awesome, so I'd like to be able to put it on any of my builds that uses a whip, not just the 1 or 2 that would use this whip.

i know that this is probably not the reason its here, but this would be super dope just as a whip skin, as well.

So Ivy's sword from Soul Calibur, basically.
I can dig it.

It had a Japanese name (Reijingu Hebi = Raging Snake) but one said it's so not lore friendly.
I also would like to stay with Hebi. :)

@cr0ssSyntax give it a ♥♥♥ name like nagahebi (means long snake) or maybe naga for short or something like habeken (means snake blade note i purposely spelled it wrong) but it sounds nice

Also... Nakahi is Maori, not Japanese. It means "snake" or "serpent" (Btw... Ivy's type of weapon is called "snake sword" in that game).

Where there's a whip there's a way.

A sword/whip would be pretty neat, not in the sense you use a stance to change it, but having both at the same time.

Used whips; Atterax or Secura Lectra. Issue is, Secura is for slight credit gain (not worth much imho) and Atterax, while fun, is... eh, there are better weapons. Which is probably the biggest issue with the game. The idea behind Rivens was to make lesser weapons be more end game usable, like the fun Karak or Stradavar (praying for a primed one).

Sadly this idea has mostly failed being Rivens are only sought after for strong weapons and that they don't really help weak weapons much, BUT as a whip the Atterax is not a bad weapon and is really fun to use.
I do like the idea of using this as a skin for a whip weapon, but given with The Split Dark Sword being able to use either dual stance or heavy blade stance, I would love to see a Sword Whip being able to use a whip stance or long sword stance. I mean, why not? It's a badass idea!

I can remove the band if it Looks weird and disturbing. It has the same size as the Skana.
The normal, not extended, version really look kind of small now you've mentioned it. xD

I also don't see people using whips (Well, I'm a noob. Mastery 4). :P

I would like to say I want it, I really want a sword whip, but... I'm just not a fan of this. I don't get the 'band' at the bottom, I feel like as a whip it would be more like a full sized sword and this seems more akin to a dagger/short blade. Not particuritly a fan of the guard eithor. BUT, I think your onto something here, just not quite at the finish line yet. I'm not being negative, I really want this to suceed, but I think it just needs a little bit more evolution on the design. I will give this a 'yes' though, cause I really do want this to suceed. If DE doesn't accept this, please don't give up on it because I believe it does have the potential to pass! ^.^

It would be a great skin for the whip class.

As much as I would love to see this in the game I doubt it will. Tennogen only allows for skins, not new weapons all together.
