This is an awesome mod, and it was unfortunate to see it hasn't been updated for a while. I made a port for personal use, but maybe someone might like to try it out who doesn't know how to port mods to the DE. It's on the Nexus here: https://www.nexusmods.com/divinityoriginalsin2definitiveedition/mods/373
GOD Jan 19, 2022 @ 2:29pm
so no DE version?
space is cool Sep 27, 2019 @ 5:40pm
So I Guess no DE version?
Somebody Oct 22, 2018 @ 8:25pm
soon (tm) by the looks of it.
Shame, been waiting for DE version :(
Echo Sep 16, 2018 @ 2:24am
Soon soon or soon (tm)?
Ottum Sep 10, 2018 @ 4:31pm
Uniformly covered in equipment, with people of relatively uniform strength, instead of the people of Fort Joy having 30 hp and the people of Arx having whatever ridiculous thousands of health they have.
Ottum Sep 10, 2018 @ 3:38pm
Looking forward to this being updated.

With this, plus my own customized version of the "Reduced Number Bloat" mod that standardizes everyone to 1000 initial HP and doesn't grant any HP on level-ups at all, the world will finally feel rather "cohesive" and "open."

Soon.
Uriel718 Sep 8, 2018 @ 7:56am
Your other mods have been appearing in the DE side of the Workshop. Any estimate when you will be able to release this mod for DE?

Been waiting for this mod, as this is an essential mod to me, to start a new DE playthrough. Thanks!

We cannot update mods to the Definitive Edition fully yet. You'll have to wait another week or so for the Definitive Edition editor to be released.
Naswinns Jan 15, 2018 @ 8:05am
Hi! I am trying to get in touch with you about one of your mods - something I discovered.
Guthan Jan 3, 2018 @ 5:42pm
I think this mod breaks the auto refresh on vendors.
No One Cares Dec 24, 2017 @ 6:27pm
Not sure if its working or not. Fort Joy vendors still have less than 200 gold on them and the items are about the same. Also, does this conflict with the mod "Greed - Increased loot variety"
BIG E. Dec 23, 2017 @ 2:12am
can't see the mod on mods tab
fireundubh  [author] Oct 24, 2017 @ 8:08am
I released a new mod: Auto Identify . Check it out!
fireundubh  [author] Oct 20, 2017 @ 11:44am
@Hakazaba: This mod unlevels everything that can be unleveled, but it does not change the whats and amounts in treasure tables. If a vendor could eventually offer a skillbook, they do.
FirstContactRuika Oct 20, 2017 @ 4:47am
Does this mod also unlevel skill book unlocks at vendors, or should i get another mod for that?
fireundubh  [author] Oct 7, 2017 @ 6:45pm
@Acadian: I use Cheat Commander, so compatibility-wise, it works. In terms of the items added to your inventory, I'm not sure. I'll have to look more closely at that mod.
Acadian Oct 7, 2017 @ 6:25pm
does this work with cheat commander?
fireundubh  [author] Oct 7, 2017 @ 11:38am
a dude. Oct 6, 2017 @ 6:35pm
Great mod !
Only thing is I am mid act ! and still did not fin a rapair hammer ! :)
fireundubh  [author] Oct 6, 2017 @ 6:24am
Updated. See Change Notes for details.
fireundubh  [author] Oct 6, 2017 @ 12:51am
@jojo: Override mods usually need post-patch updates - because the base data sometimes changes. I have version control, so I can see what is different between patches.
jojo Oct 5, 2017 @ 10:25pm
Quick question, fireundubh. Do you think this will need an update with the upcoming patch, or it should work regardless of the changes?

Just asking, because some games are easier to mod than the others.... take Pillars of Eternity... always every mod there had to be rebuilt with the new patch.
fireundubh  [author] Oct 5, 2017 @ 9:14am
@beatle38: I don't know what you're asking. For the most part, this mod removes most treasure generation limits. It won't affect already-generated loot or items in your backpack.
beatle38 Oct 5, 2017 @ 4:38am
Will this unlevel items in existing saves as well as new ones?
Jellybean Oct 4, 2017 @ 11:48pm
Thanks for the answer Fire!
fireundubh  [author] Oct 4, 2017 @ 11:16pm
@Yijuwarp: It means you can find items that have names and appearances different from what you'd normally find. Just install the mod and see for yourself.
Yijuwarp Oct 4, 2017 @ 10:10pm
"and unlevels item progression names and visuals" what does this mean, can you give an example?
fireundubh  [author] Oct 4, 2017 @ 4:15pm
@Kai: Both.

@Yijuwarp: No. See the description.

@KazKazh: I think the missing tooltips is a game bug.
Jellybean Oct 4, 2017 @ 12:25pm
I have tried to find this in the comments so far however couldn't!

Does this only affect new games or is it possible on a already started adventure?
Paddy Oct 4, 2017 @ 12:18pm
@GoodOleWaifuLovin'

Really? Were you also semi rich in Fort Joy? I hvent played since the weekend, so I havent gotten any further then Fort Joy, but I mean if that is the case, then I guess unleveled can be a good thing, but obviously it can vary from playthrough to playthrough..
Yijuwarp Oct 4, 2017 @ 10:52am
does this allow me to buy like lvl 20 gear in fort joy, what does it do?
LazySwayze Oct 4, 2017 @ 3:04am
Hey This mod is pretty cool! I wanted to ask though, I've been looking through the mods and have not come across this yet: a mod that would suggest things in a tooltip for crafting. Such as if you gathered the stuff for a small health potion over the creation button it might have a tooltip that says "This creates blah blah or something. It would help alot of people who first start the game get more used to crafting.
Money, A$$, and Dead Sh!t Oct 4, 2017 @ 12:05am
@Mrbellicose I'm getting that same problem, so, it's likely conflicting with another installed mod. Can you list which mods you have?. I want to compare them to mine. With any luck, we'll a have a couple in common, and be able to identify the problem mod. Assuming, of course, it IS a mod conflict.
Habanera Hunter Oct 3, 2017 @ 5:47pm
It would take me some time to get there but tomorrow after class I'd be able to make the run if I take the beeline
fireundubh  [author] Oct 3, 2017 @ 5:36pm
Can someone e-mail me a mods-free save in the Vault of Braccus Rex in the treasure room? If my changes work, you'll be able to pick up mounds of gold as currency in the amounts of 2500 to 5000 gold each. Thanks. E-mail: fireundubh@gmail.com
Habanera Hunter Oct 3, 2017 @ 5:14pm
@paddy I had max luck and still was in the final chapter with barely enough money to buy a set of boots. I was also level 19 when I opened the gold pile and 1.5k gold was inside. Divine loot costs 100k + even with 5 bartering
HReissM Oct 3, 2017 @ 9:09am
Could you upload this on the nexus too?
Paddy Oct 3, 2017 @ 8:07am
I agree with leveling the gold Fire! I am not even half way through Fort Joy, and I already have more money then I know what to do with.. As long as the items are unleveled, I think the gold should be leveled, or maybe two versions, one for each crowd?

Either way, thanks alot for this mod! Made the game so much better!
fireundubh  [author] Oct 3, 2017 @ 7:57am
@Zion: All mods disable achievements.
Tess On Da WaE Oct 3, 2017 @ 6:29am
will this disable achievement?
Habanera Hunter Oct 3, 2017 @ 5:51am
I honestly don't know fire. I kinda think it's funny. Some of those mounds maybe are only a hundred but the one in that <vault> where there is do much good your party could fit inside the pile?
The Little Victor Oct 3, 2017 @ 2:58am
Fair enough! Great mod, man, keep up the great work!
fireundubh  [author] Oct 2, 2017 @ 11:58pm
@LittleViktor: With unleveled gold loot and Lucky Charm 1, I had more than 1,500 gold before I left The Hold - from looting crates and barrels. I had almost 3,000 gold after reaching the entrance to Fort Joy. That didn't feel right to me. With leveled gold loot, you can still find very valuable items to sell or trade, and you can still find wealthy traders.

@GoldOleWaifuLovin: About the gold mound containers, I'll see if I can convert them to actual gold objects you can pick up. How much gold do you think they should reward?

@Mrbellicose: Loads fine for everyone else. Something must be wrong on your end.
jojo Oct 2, 2017 @ 6:57pm
Thanks a ton! In the absense of the armor transmog (modded or otherwise) this is the next best thing for people like me, who particularly like the look of some armor, but unable to use it anymore due to level lock... or hell, just people who like variety!
Habanera Hunter Oct 2, 2017 @ 3:46pm
nothing feels better than raiding an ancient vault and inside a massive pile of gold coins higher than myself is... 150 coins. halfway there to a skillbook
The Little Victor Oct 2, 2017 @ 3:21pm
@fireundubh, disagree with restoring gold levels. Defeats the point of your mod, which is to defend the randomness of things. Some might find 5000, some might find nothing, and that makes the game exciting and unexpected instead of predictable in terms of loot, which is an amazing addition since loot is one of the only things in this game that is predictable and old-fashioned.
fireundubh  [author] Oct 2, 2017 @ 2:10pm
@Echo: That mostly refers to junk, ingredients, potions, runes, etc. As the description states, you won't find overleveled gear. Item progression does not use Min/MaxLevel.

@LittleViktor: Treasure tables weren't modified. Some items have MinLevel and/or MaxLevel properties, so MinLevel was reduced to 1 and MaxLevel was cleared.
The Little Victor Oct 2, 2017 @ 12:39pm
Great job, man. There is already a mod that reduces (or eliminates, which is the version I use) the vitality scaling for levels, which means gear does not become irrelevant 15 minutes after you find it. This one, as I understand it, only messes with loot tables, right? If that's the case, then it should be a perfect companion to that one. Thanks!
