With the name I assumed it would be from the 360 indie revolotioin, but maybe not, either way someone else's attemt at a game dev game would be good to see, if this is still active, that is...
WolfHero Oct 29, 2013 @ 8:51pm
This really deserves to be picked back up with some updates, seeing as no one has "perfected" this theme and it needs to be accomplished. :3

I like Game dev Tycoon and I would definetly try this one if the project goes on!
Wayne Sep 14, 2013 @ 11:21am
There is a game just like this called game dev tycoon. Make sure that if you choose this goal that it sets itself apart from that game. Game dev is a pretty good game, so I'd recommend you play it so as not to find yourselves outdone.
Duckwhiskers Aug 21, 2013 @ 2:53pm
It looks like fun but seems like a game dev tycoon...
cheetahboy1999 Jul 14, 2013 @ 12:04pm

MEMRI-TV HOST #52 May 19, 2013 @ 10:07am
So, if you decide to help creating this game )I´d love to by the way, but I´m not good at coding nor am I really good at digital graphical stuff' You develop a game where you can develop games. Yo dawg... Apr 7, 2013 @ 11:33pm

WolfHero Mar 20, 2013 @ 8:54am
This is a massive sort of bump-ish comment, any good progress? I'm amped still. :3

Another idea that might work is that you can customize all of your console like the processor and graphics card but costing more or less depending what time it is being created.
Ersbon Feb 16, 2013 @ 11:37am
like small 8 bit games
Ersbon Feb 16, 2013 @ 11:37am
I hope that you can play the games you sell

We hope to keep you posted with our latest new via announcments on this page. Once again thank you all, if it wasn't for all your positive feedback then we wouldn't be doing this!
Thanks From all the Team!

@WolfHero Short term we are not going to procced with the graphics changing with the consoles, however we are not ruling it out in the long term. :)
L33CR055L3Y  [author] Feb 2, 2013 @ 5:02am
@{RFG} TheMan123e We are currently finalising the design ideas, we hope to begin producing the game soon, however we don't want to rush it and give you a poor product as our aim is to produce a high quality game. :)
L33CR055L3Y  [author] Feb 2, 2013 @ 4:56am
@WolfHero We are currently looking into the idea of lawsuits and thinking of how to impliment it properly, and we are hoping to make it open alpha! :)
WolfHero Feb 1, 2013 @ 10:39pm
I also wanted to mention, forgot this earlier.

Maybe the graphics for this game itself would change when you change your main console game, or something? That'd be wicked as a toggle option or something. :3
Depresso Espresso Jan 31, 2013 @ 11:19pm
When do you think it would be in a playable state for people to test?
Marisa Jan 31, 2013 @ 8:38pm
please make this! i'd like to suggest lawsuits over things like copied features, or copied names, etc. and if this game is made, open alpha like minecraft or project zomboid? :D
WolfHero Jan 24, 2013 @ 10:47pm
Same here Lume. This deserves some fanbase early on, the concept is genius. Gameception.

To be honest, I'm saddened how this is not on most popular.
WannyD  [author] Jan 18, 2013 @ 4:51am
@Engineer Lume That is one awesome idea definately going to be added to the list..
AdjectiveNoun Jan 16, 2013 @ 8:51pm
Maybe if the internet had a progressing role like it does in real life. Maybe later in the game part of an advertising campaign could be 'Parody Viral Video.' Maybe you could also have a ratings system (E,T,M etc.). Maybe you could add Natural events like storms, snow, the like and include insurance ccompanies. I am fairly sure that would be a good idea.
duraiken Jan 4, 2013 @ 9:56pm
What will set this apart from Kairosoft's mobile gaming hit Game Dev Story? Considering what you've described so far, that's likely to be your biggest direct competition, and therefore subject to a lot of comparisons between the two.
Bravo! Jan 2, 2013 @ 8:12pm
looks good but it need more to play with when making a game than "this game is about..."
on a second note how about a deep custimisation for making consoles
mpuone Dec 24, 2012 @ 12:03pm
This is an awesome concept! Any news?
Archangelion Dec 19, 2012 @ 10:02pm
Here's an idea: Make it so that you can progress as a company in terms of departments. So in the beginning you're just kinda by yourself doing all the work. As you progress you can hire people on in a QA Department, Audio Department, Publishing, Marketing, etc.
THEGUEST Dec 19, 2012 @ 5:26pm
Epic game idea
CVibe Dec 19, 2012 @ 1:58pm
LOL That was an abrupt friendlist removal, but whatever I guess.
Ulster Says Yeooo Dec 19, 2012 @ 5:42am

sanky Dec 18, 2012 @ 3:46am

Cowi Dec 17, 2012 @ 4:35pm
like game dev story except more customizable, better in every way and there are more factors to creating a good game
rushinigiri+V Dec 17, 2012 @ 12:28pm
That sounds awesome O:
ill be keeping an eye on this
Babushka Dec 15, 2012 @ 9:52pm
I have an idea, perhaps you could at the start, when you are a small company and are employing your friends, maybe you could name them, and be able to customise them a bit, and if you are hiring a guy off of the Internet, possibly make it so that their design and name are random. That is, if you didn't already think of this.
chronicdog Dec 15, 2012 @ 5:00am
Cool idea, good luck!
WannyD  [author] Dec 15, 2012 @ 4:39am
@pb3052 I will write down your name and when the time comes around you will be asked. Thanks!

CVibe Dec 14, 2012 @ 2:01pm
Hey do you still want help? I'm not exactly experienced at this, but you gotta start somewhere, right?
A88mph Dec 13, 2012 @ 7:20pm
I saw something like this as a Facebook game. Why didn't I think of doing this first!?

Good luck developing this! You got my support.
WannyD  [author] Dec 13, 2012 @ 10:58am
@unknownseven Yes i have looked at game dev story, and i do know they have executed some of these ideas well, however like i keep saying they didnt really broaden the game. I found, if i was going to keep playing that i was in the same offices over and over which i cant change to fit my company, Hiring the same people and realeasing game after game finding out you cant lose any money. I'm just saying Game Dev Story was an awesome game, however it was linear and eventually got repetative. Thanks for the feedback, DJ
unknownseven Dec 13, 2012 @ 10:34am
Look at Game Dev Story - I'm sure you probably already have, but if not there's some concepts within your idea that they executed very well.
Lance Icarus Dec 12, 2012 @ 4:05pm
I really love the idea, but I would love to see more screenshots or something to get a better idea of how it will play. Descriptions are nice, but I want to see the process of a game being made.
Mr. Mutton Dec 12, 2012 @ 2:55pm
Maybe, and this probably won't happen, but maybe designing the game and test-running it befoore it ships? I mean, that's a lot to expect, and i would not mind if it was not there, but it would be so much cooler to play a final product of our game. You don't have to do that, though.
Nathan Dec 12, 2012 @ 2:34pm
I really want to try this but mabye better graphix from what i see
