That part is the highlight of the map. It's at that point where I change the rules how you can use the laser. I try not to have any oversights in my maps when it comes to trapping. The one you described is by design. The trapped bot can't do anything and then their fate is in the hands of their partner.

Try Excellent Partnership 6. I find that to be my best work for coop. EP3 is just my most popular coop, but I consider it my second best work for coop.

well could be, we tried a lot, it was at the point where you get lifted up and you can click the button for getting a cube. I thought its is not possible to free anyone anymore because you need two people to get the lift down

Where? If it is where I think you do, you are not stuck. Your partner has to free you with the newly obtained laser cube.

Sorry for late reply. If both bots are in that elevator, then you found some sort of odd case I never considered. If one bot is free to roam the chamber and the other is stuck, that is intentional. It is common for people to think the puzzle has a trapping bug but really it doesn't. All necessary tools are there. Think cooperatively. Rescue your partner! If you are unsure how to proceed, there are videos to look at below the thumbnail.

Just before you get to the exit, there should be something that pulls you back to the turret room area.

It just feels like you put in a lot of effort in that secondary area but we don't go back to appreciate it. It's just 'boom, solved, exit'. If maybe there was one more quick/easy step to activate the lift from that other room, it might feel like one complete puzzle. Because the ending was so 'quick' I felt like I was missing another room. If that makes sense.

Just my feelings though, my partner didn't seem to mind so much.

At the time, I didn't have BEEMOD2 .2.4 alpha that has magnet portals which auto-center portal placements. I have considered updating this map and the others in the Excellent Partnership series. For now just try to be as precisely center as possible. That is the problem why the cube is apparently almost impossible.

There are many problems to fit the cube in the switch at final puzzle. It's almost impossible!!!, but it's a good chamber.

The ending was wonky because your partner had his funnel-redirected portal off-center and made it more difficult than it should be.
