does this work with realspace mod?

workf for latest versoin?

Quarior 22 Tem 2018 @ 5:40
@Dwaine.
No brake planet but in my game in French, is "monde mort" (different of "monde brisé") and when you have the end scenario of the black hole signal the Ver and choise Yes, we can colonize.
The type of this planet is append also some time when a primitive empire destroy their him with a nuclear/atomic war.
I hope you understand.
Dwaine  [yaratıcı] 19 Tem 2018 @ 19:22
@Quarior, I assume you mean the broken planets, I booted up stellaris with only LITE + clouds and had no error nor crash.
Quarior 16 Tem 2018 @ 12:35
I made a report. For some system with dead planet my game crash but without mod no problem. I don't know if it specific to this mod or the main mod.

Excellent mod! Please update. Thx.

@IAmTheRad, this contains half the textures of the megamods, if you have them and they work well on your computer, this mod is unecessary. If you tried and have slow down, take this, this should strain your PC much less.
IAmTheRad 6 Eki 2017 @ 15:00
Does this includes the textures that I would get in the two megamods instead?
Dwaine  [yaratıcı] 2 Eki 2017 @ 10:05
@ShockInfantry, good for you mate. As a matter of fact, this mod is very demanding for HDD, there is virtually no load time on a SSD, simply because every time you enter a system, the game will load the textures.
ShockInfantry 1 Eki 2017 @ 22:39
I appreciate having the LITE version. I tried using the mega mod but, It would always take a second or two to first load it in which I couldn't stand unfortunately. THe LILTE version seems to have no noticable loading time increase for much better variety so thanks!

I used the same resolution than PDX, and the idea that "texture is bigger than my monitor" makes no sense, that's not how it works, textures are wrapped around a shpere here, if your computer can't run this mod, then it already have a lot of trouble running stellaris.

When you enter a solar system, the game loads the necessary textures on the planets, so let's say there is 2 gas giants and 1 molten world, the game will load the necessary textures. Be it mine or PDX', this changes nothing, as they are the same size. The only advantage of reducing the number of textures is for faster access, thus improving preformance on slow computers.
Spillik 9 Ağu 2017 @ 6:56
So, maybe it would be better to make a lower resolution? I mean if people have wooden PC - why do they shoud care about resolution of textures? It's like I have resolution 1280x1024 and textures of the planet are bigger than my monitor's is. Seems weird.
Dwaine  [yaratıcı] 9 Ağu 2017 @ 6:50
I'm sorry but I don't think I can explain better without repeating myself.

ALL TEXURES are in 2K (2048x1024 px) in ALL the mods, except ONE category, the diffuse textures of clouds (if you don't know what diffuse textures are, pls google it) which are found in the base mod.
These diffuse textures in question are for the the clouds, I made them in 4K to make them look prettier, there is 10 variation of clouds for inhabitable planets, and so, 10 diffuse maps in 4K. The rest is in 2K.
Therfore, if you use the LITE mod, you'll have exactly 443 textures in 2k + 10 textures in 4K for the clouds.

A more graphical representation would be :

Planets diffuse map : 2K
Planets normal map : 2K
Planets specular : 2K

Clouds diffuse map : 4K
Clouds normal map : 2K
Clouds specular : 2K

You can also open the mod folder if you want to take a look.

Your english is hard to understand for me. Are you saying that in this mod planet textures are in 2K to?
Dwaine  [yaratıcı] 31 Tem 2017 @ 6:20
@Spillik, ALL textures are in 2K, except the diffuse textures of clouds, which represent 25 of ~450 textures for LITE, and ~1000 textures for the normal version.
Spillik 30 Tem 2017 @ 12:26
"- Clouds cut down to 4K for diffuse, 2K for normal, and 1K for shadows (was mistakenly in 8K, should greatly improve performance)." - so, textures are in 4K to?
Dwaine  [yaratıcı] 29 Tem 2017 @ 5:59
@Spillik, It is "LITE" for 2 reasons:
1) The size is much lower than the combined inhabitable+uninhabitable packs.
2) The game has much less textures to load, and therefore should ease on ram/Vram usage, it should really help less powerful computers to run it. But I can't tell for sure, because I don't have a "less powerful" computer to test it.

As for specification, I can't tell if configuration X will or won't run the mod perfectly, I would need people to tell me how this mod work on their specs, with other mods, etc ... The best way to know is to start the game with my mod, turn on observe mod and quickly move through systems, if there is a lot of LAG, then even LITE is too demanding.
Spillik 28 Tem 2017 @ 11:58
Maybe it would be better to change name of the mod? Cuz it look like "Lite" is about weight of the mod, or without so many changes. And what do you mean by "older/less powerful"? It's like my wooden PC:
Intel Core 2 1.8 Hhz
3 RAM
512 Gb Video memory
Right?
