At the moment my PC was REAAAALLY low-end (still kind of is), so I couldn't make that great of an intro to the next chapter (esp. since I was still in the puzzlemaker)
Thank you very, very much!!!! :D (I even get legitimate cake!)
That is got to be the greatest feedback I have ever gotten on this map, and I am GLaD you liked it! ;-)

Yeah, well, the problem is though, I have no means of getting money right now, other than chriwstmas money, which I choose to keep to buy presents. I am hoping to do some sort of petsitting buisiness though, but for now, I do not have a source of money :/ But yeah, once I do, I will start saving for maybe like 2 or 3 more gigs of ram! :)
Yeah, actually, I am REALLY considering doing that, I would love too, so players can apreciate it better. :( I am considering getting more RAM too, also, which would be great! :D
makes the playtime too short for a level and without any special effects the player just dont get the idea. You should consider porting this to hammer and add the effects you need. You can export this map to hammer you know..,.
You asked what went wrong, I think you just did not read the description, sorry in the description there are important plot points. : )
If I could put more of a challenge into this level, then I would have. Thank you for your feedback though, and do not worry, in the next parts of this chapter, it gets a lot more challenging, the player must use gels, momentum and other things to navigate their way. Enjoy! :D
Before I asnwer your question, there was a part in the original game of Portal 2, specifically in Chapter 1, where the player obtained the blue handheld portal device. And there was not much of a challenge there, all the player had to do was walk, and place 3 blue portals. That area was not really supposed to be a challenge, and neither was this area, it was simply to make the player realize where they were, it would have been hard to put more of a challenge there, as my computer does not have a lot of ram, and normally crashed when I make complex and/or large levels. There was almost no challenge in that area at all. I am doing basically the same thing VaLVE did in that level, I am sorry that this level disapointed you, but it is what it is.
Well, the main point was not really of a challenge, like I have said in many parts of chapter 2, if I could, I would put all of it in one level, except I could not have. My pc has low RAM. :(
But if you think about it, there ARE actually a couple parts of portal 2 which do not consist really of a challenge, but mmore of navigation, for about half of this chapter, I was not really aiming for a challenge...
I could not really get the idea that the player fell down a long fall, and what the cause of the fall was, and at the same time put in a good challenge AND letting the player realizew where they were in Aperture Science--not the tests, but the inner workings of it 'behind the scenes'. I am sorry I could not please both of you, except, if I could, I would, for now I cannot mix them though.
Thank you for playing them though! :D
And speacking of that, I am impressed that you found it! (Considering it's uniuque location!)
These levels are emotional rollercoasters lol...
Thumbs up!
