The Number Plate Update

  • Front and Rear Number Plates added
    The rear number plate location is based on the later models of Versa where it was affixed to the Rear Bumper
  • TextMeshPro was updated to the relevant version too

Known issues
  • Doors are not animated, they have been animated in the past but somewhere along the line of game updates and mod tool updates they have stopped working.
  • There's a Raccoon on the bus? - No there isn't...

Shading Fixes and more

  • Quite a few changes were made along both front quarters of the model in terms of shading.
    some edges were classified as flat, sharp and smooth to try and give the best appearance whilst keeping poly count low.

  • Rear bumper has been tweaked as well, the lighting should impact the lip better between the rear bumper and the engine cover.

  • Some areas around the door weren't flattened off and has been corrected in this update.

  • UV Mapping has been corrected on the Rear Right quarter around the wheel arch, this won't effect existing template, so if you have created a paint using it, it will now be aligned correctly in-game.

  • Squashed a bug where a "125" fleet number appeared on the front of every Versa until a user applied their own fleet number, a fleet number now no longer shows until one is entered :)

  • The bus now displays a rear fleet number.

  • Windows no longer appear on the floor within the bus interior

Known issues

Open Beta Release

  • There has been quite a few changes to how the front door appears. I was at first unhappy with the colour than later unhappy with the positioning
    The colours are spot on now, but the positioning is still off to me. This will be getting updated as other things are looked at.
  • Rear Destination board is now attached :)
  • Front fleet number has been lowered a bit to fit better with the template updated by Propforward.
  • Front Destination board has also been tinkered with to fit better with the updated template.
  • Rear wheel arches have been completely rebuilt.
  • Rear quarter panels needed reworking but UV mapping has been retained for those areas.
  • Made some changes to the then new front wheel arches. I wasn't happy with how I created the arches under the body so they have been rebuilt
  • Wheels have been updated to use the same model that is on the Wentaro and Wenolvo models which are upcoming.
  • Fixed the side destination board colours - Thanks to Zudoo for pointing that one out :D
  • Side destination board has been re-positioned to better match how it appears IRL, hopefully the template will be updated to follow suit.

I want to thank everyone who has been testing the bus for the past 2 months.

Closed Beta Release

Quite a few things changed on this update
  • Baked in Propforward's V4 template for people who want to use the in-game paintshop, also included it as the default export from in-game.
    (I settled on the more common front/rear light variant combination as well as the Small rear destination board for this)

  • Fixed the in-game painting so that the Body Colour and Roof Colour options now work as expected (Although there's a slight issue of wheel arches being considered roof...)

  • Reworked the front wheel arches... Aaah thank you. I've also done this in such a away that doesn't effect any previous repaints.

Made changes to particle effects, where they are located and direction
Fixed the floating headlights issuse
Made changed to a number of other other details.

Also included a basic template and baked in some details now so it doesn't just rock up blank to your depots when your buy new or used.

This update signifies the first release that is available to test and make repaints for.

Made changes to the model so staff now walk onto the bus as opposed to walking through the bus.
They also have an area to walk into when boarding.

Some minor model changes

Removed rear lights from model, these will be simply painted on to allow for both variants.
Removed indicators from sides of model, these will be painted on.

Simplified the model quite a bit in order to reduce polygon count dramatically, Windows and Desti board have been reduced from over 110+ polygons to just 15!

Avatar has been updated too and now shows a Versa instead of a blank box :)
