- **ADDED:** A new "Art" skill. As characters improve their Art skill, they gain the ability to create a broader range of inventions and produce more intricate and refined artwork.

- **ADDED:** A new object, the Easel, which can be crafted under the Carpentry category after reading a new recipe magazine. Once built, the Easel allows players to add canvases and participate in the new painting hobby.

- **ADDED:** Painting Activity/Hobby: Characters can use the Easel to create various paintings based on their Art skill level. Work on paintings can be paused and resumed at any time. Completed paintings can be given custom titles and descriptions, and displayed on walls. Right-clicking on a painting lets any player view all relevant details about it.

- **ADDED:** New 3D items: Art Supplies, Artist's Paintbrush, and Art Palette, all required for painting. Paintbrushes and Palettes can be crafted after reading the new magazine, while Art Supplies must be found on the map. All new items have been added to the procedural distribution table and can be found in various locations, with higher chances in containers from schools (all), daycares (art supplies), and art stores (all).

- **ADDED:** A new recipe magazine, "HomeStyle: Secrets of the Atelier", which can be found in typical recipe magazine locations.

> **The "Ambitions" mechanic is a long-term goal system**, inspired by Sims' lifetime wishes. It allows players to set and pursue meaningful objectives that shape their character's journey and provide a feeling of progression over time. These ambitions are entirely optional and can be tailored to different playstyles, offering unique perks and rewards upon completion.

> **Players can choose from a variety of ambitions that represent significant goals or achievements**. These can range from mastering a set of skills, collecting rare items, exploring certain areas, completing challenges or anything that the ambition creator may think of.
>
> **The number of ambitions that can be active at the same time is configurable and, once selected, each ambition comes with a series of objectives and conditions that players need to satisfy.** These can vary in complexity and some can even impose conditions on the player while the ambition is active. For example, the 'Terminator' ambition will impose High Exertion on the player until completed as long as it remains active.

> **Ambitions can be hidden or completely disabled until players meet specific criteria.** Hidden ambitions will appear as greyed-out silhouettes in the ambitions menu under their respective categories and can't be selected. Disabled ambitions will not appear in the menu at all.

- **ADDED:** New group performances for musical instruments.

- **ADDED:** Sculpting Station - Players can now make use of the newly introduced **Sculpting Station**, allowing them to create unique sculptures and special furniture pieces. The recipe for the Sculpting Station can be unlocked by reading the **HomeStyle: Secrets of the Atelier** magazine. In an upcoming patch, the sculpting process will begin to consume resources, and there will be an added chance of failure.

- **ADDED:** Note System - The first phase of an interactive tutorial system has been implemented, bringing a helpful **Note System** to the game. These notes will appear when specific conditions are met and provide useful tips and guidance about various mechanics of the mod. Most notes can be expanded to reveal additional details, offering deeper insights and instructions to enhance the player's experience. For now only a few notes have been introduced in order to test the system, with more planned to be added in the future.

- **ADDED:** Distinct Sound Cue for Masterpiece Completion** - Completing a masterpiece will now trigger a unique sound cue, helping to further distinguish the moment of creating a significant work of art.

- **ADDED:** Playable Violins - violins are now fully playable.

- **ADDED:** The Grand Piano is now fully playable.

- **ADDED:** Disco Floors - Players can now craft Disco Floors after acquiring and reading the HomeStyle: DISCO Special Edition magazine. These floors can be placed over existing wooden surfaces and linked together to form dynamic light patterns that activate whenever a nearby jukebox or DJ booth is in use.

- **ADDED:** DJ-Controlled Light Displays – DJs now have the ability to customize the color and pattern schemes of close-by disco floors. This feature is accessible through newly implemented controls in the DJ booth user interface, allowing for greater synchronization between music and lighting effects.

- **ADDED:** Low Hygiene Sickness – Characters with low hygiene levels have a small chance of becoming ill. This feature is disabled by default but can be enabled and customized in the sandbox settings, allowing players to adjust both the probability and severity of sickness effects.

- ADDED: A new sandbox option, "Waste Generation Odds", which determines the chance for an unskilled character to generate waste during skill-based activities (e.g., food scraps from cooking with low cooking skill);

- ADDED: Characters with the virtuoso trait now start with some randomized learned songs for a few randomly selected instruments. This applies to new characters only. Learned songs still require their minimum skill level before they can be played;

- ADDED: A new admin/debug command, "Learn All Songs", which allows a character to instantly learn all available songs for the selected instrument;

- ADDED: When writing songs into a music notebook, the list of learned songs now displays in order of skill level, with a new tooltip showing each song's level and rarity values when hovering the mouse over them;

- ADDED: If a character already knows all songs for a given instrument then the warning "already know all songs for this instrument", will appear when hovering over the practice option;

- BALANCE: Littering caused by low skill during an activity is now more consistent across different characters and occurs at a slower rate overall;

- FIXED: "True Music" category in the jukebox's custom playlist menu now correctly turns off when the "True Music" mod is not loaded;

- FIXED: Addon songs removed mid-playthrough are now properly "forgotten" by characters who had previously learned them;

- FIXED: An issue that could cause characters to generate cooking-related waste/litter, even at higher cooking skill levels;

- FIXED: A typo in the call for one of the meditation animations for levels 2-4, which prevented it from firing correctly.

- ADDED: A few missing translations lines; RU/PTBR translations updated.

- CHANGED: Characters no longer remain seated on a toilet after using it when they "forget" to flush. This should help avoid confusion when the character is done using the toilet, but the player thinks they're still using it;

- CHANGED: **Complete rework of the meditation and mindfulness mechanic code**. This is a purely technical update, replacing over a year-old code. No balance changes were made, so this update should be unnoticeable to players;

- BALANCE: Default sandbox options for "cleaning expectation time" and "hygiene expectation time" moved from "1-3 days" to "4-12 days";

- FIXED: Sleeping on beds and sleeping bags will now correctly check for quality and provide comfort if the quality is average or better. Bed quality of "bad" still remains better than sleeping on the floor.

- FIXED: A missing parameter which caused the action to relieve on the ground to not consider toilet paper type and quality, leading to massive loss of hygiene and mood;
