Arc checks from objective tokens
The arc checking code has been altered to work objects of different shapes than square ship bases. The objective tokens was allready mapped so that they could be used as targets (commandos), but now arc checks can also originate from objective shaped tokens as well. With this tech two things can be achieved:
1. Commandos has been given a button (and right click option) to check their front (range 2) arc.
2. Objective tokens now use the range check to check distance to ships. This doesn't depend on an API call to TTS which should give better and more reliable results than the old solution.

It should also be possible for homebrewers to alter these object to create other sort of scenarios where arc checks of different kinds could be used (left, right, full front, full back, etc).

Configuration menu, and supersized tokens
The builder has a new configuration menu, where game wide options could go.
For now, you can modify the token size that are spawned when using the ship dials.
Small: Like before
Medium: Double size
Large: Triple size
Ships pulled from the bags directly are not modified by this option.

Hi @everyone! Time for another update, mostly cosmetic changes this time around.

Improved customizers
The ship customizers can now be spawned for all ships, including those with "tricky" configurations, like Vultures, Hyenas and HMP's.
The customizer updates all configuration parts when changing the ship tint and the model texture.
Applying the customizer to a ship now applies the tint color correctly.
The card spawner now properly applies the model tint to the ships when spawning.

Other fixes
The T65 and FO fighters have new asset paths, and caching issues should be resolved.
The Ship model and configurations now spawns with a custom nonfunctional collision mesh, this should solve issues with tokens and cards interacting (flipping) close to the ships once and for all.
The game console now has a custom "click" sound, it is now possible to tell when the timer is paused and restarted again.

Thats all.

Hi @everyone! In this update the point counters are in with a handful of improvements to the first player randomisation.

Point counter added to the game console
When playing a standard 2 player game, the game console has a built in point counter.
Registering players to the game console has been simplified, simply press the "Register" button on your end of the mat, and wait for your opponent to do the same.
When both sides have registered this way, the game is automatically started. There is no need to right click and select "Start".
The players add and remove points by using the + and - buttons on the point counter closest to them.
The points added or removed in a round is displayed next to the round counter. This way it should be easier to keep the score correct through a game.

Hi @everyone, time for another update.

This update contains an upgrade to the Game Console, which is the new name for what was previously known as the first player randomizer. It now has a built in timer that has a few options compared to the standard clock object.

New Timer functionality
- Hidden: If enabled, the exact time will be hidden from the players, the timer can be paused and resumed as always, but how long til it goes of will remain unknown.
- Random: If enabled, the end of the timer will vary with +/- 3 minutes according to the current tournament regulations. In this mode, if the timer is not hidden, will be counting upwards instead of down to zero.
- Loud sound: The timer has a non-ending alert sound that the players must turn off. This is done by clicking the timer window.
- Pausing: No good timer if you cant pause it. Click the timer window to pause. Click it again to resume.
- Saving and Loading: The timer state is saved and loaded as expected.
- Resetting: To reset the timer, right click the console and press reset.

Whats next?
The next improvements in line for the game console is a point counter. The two windows (to the left and right of the timer) will be used for players to adjust their points during a game. The adjusted points will be displayed next to the round numbers. This will make it possible for players to see how the score adjusted through the game, and review any possible mistake that could have been done.

Hi @everyone !
Pride month is over, and it's time to bring back the old original look of the module back. Because of kids with a tummy flu going straight into a short family holiday, the 🏳️‍🌈 Pride celebration was extended til today. I hope no one unwillingly got infected by queerness because of the extended exposure! 😜
Thanks for those participating, and thanks to those who endured while it lasted even if it got a little bit in their way.

The Kyber Cup also ended this month, a big congrats to Chrispy for taking it home!

Beside that, the update also comes with a few proper additions.

- The Clone Z-95 now has boost options

This update contains mainly cosmetic updates, but never the less, updates there is.

@Kes' epic journey, chapter 42 or something
- Completely redone resistance transport model, with new textures to match
- Updates to the pods to match.
- New UV unwrapping and textures for the TIE /ba interceptor and U-Wing

The objective token has been pride'ified! (old texture available as 2nd state).
There is now possible to select obstacles without the pride decoration, they are located in the obstacle bags (states 7-12).

Ship customization commands
It's now possible to set the initiative and names on a ships baseplate using new ship commands:
name

  • ? <new_name> This Sets the name on the base plate to the given name, any asterix
  • will be replaced with a limited 'pip'.
    init [0-7] alters the initiative value on the baseplate to the given value.

    Bug fix
    The dice control would act up if you for some reason managed to lock a die, then roll it. This is now no longer possible, and causes no more problems.

    Finally I'd like to wish all the top32 in the Kyber cup and all the contestants in the upcoming Galaxies event the best of luck!

Hi @everyone!
This update comes with a fairly important fix to ship overlapping, and a few other improvements.

Missing colliders
The new composite ship method (which all standard ships now use), had an issue with the collision of the nubs of the base object being ignored. This would result in being able to maneuver ships into positions where they overlapped another ships nubs (guides).
I'm very sorry for this issue, we where bound to encounter unforeseen consequences from the transition to the new spawn method, but it's unfortunate that this wasn't caught at an earlier stage.
I expect these issues to be completely solved now.

Completely redone model, with texture options:
- Resistance Transport
Reskinned and retextured with texture options:
- YV-66
- Naboo N1 Starfighter
- Nantex
- Jumpmaster 5000
- Sheathipede

Other fixes
The canopy of the Rogue-Class starfighter model is repared.
Norra Wexley (Y-Wing) spawns properly again
AI now targets remotes (commandos)
The two Maul (crew) cards can now be distinguished when spawning them using the TTS option.

X-Wing 2.0 Unified Mod - Asset Update
Hi, some players have expressed issues with differentiating the different obstacle types after they got all dressed up in Pride colors. In order to make the differentiation a bit easier I've added colors to the sides of the different types. For the Vassal veterans out there that play in top down view (hi @oli_186th (He/Him) ), sorry, this won't help you much. Anyways, colors are as follows:
💚 = Astroid
💗 = Debris Cloud
🧡 = Gas Cloud
Hope this is sufficient. And if you still wonder, you can always right click an obstacle to see it's name.
