Опис

FEATURES

* Multiple titles have been overhauled to be more historical, accurate, and closer to the ones in CK3. For example, the empire of "Pontic-Caspian Steppe" is now "Khazaria".

* Society names have gone through a massive overhaul. Every single secret cult got a unique name (no more 'Lollard Faithful') fitting their religious beliefs. Some societies had their original names restored (like "The Satanists", previously "Lucifer's Own").

* The overflow of "khagans" everywhere is no more. Nomadic khagans are now "khans", and khans are "beys".

* The mod also overhauls every single in-game mention of "Byzantium" or "Byzantine" and replaces them with "Rome" and "Roman".

* As a bonus, every single in-game mention of "Gavelkind" is replaced by "Partition".

Finally, the mod also fixes vanilla typos all over the place.

Interesting take on it. I guess doing it otherwise would leave the door open for too many potential conflicts/errors. I appreciate the response!

Hello! So: the reformed Roman Empire can only be reformed by the Byzantine Empire. That means they *never* exist at the same time; when the Roman Empire is created, the Byzantine Empire title is permanently destroyed.

Meaning you will not see a name change when going Byzantium-Rome, but the rest (flag, names, special decisions) will be normal.

Quick question: how does this mod handle a reformed (Western?) Roman Empire title? Is it possible that the Byzantines could still exist alongside this formable title? Would both be called "Roman Empire"? I apologize if this is ignorant, I've never reformed the WRE in-game.

Because they are known in English chiefly as "Emperor", and I like consistency (hence Tsars and Kaisers being called Emperors as well).

So why not just make it so that the Byzantines just keep their cultural names?

And Imperator, Augustus, Caesar, etc.

The Byzantine Emperors called themselves Basileus, as well as Autokrator after the Holy Roman Empire was formed.

Bahmanid is a dynastic name and thus makes no sense as a title for the entire Deccan plateau.

Byzantine Empire *is* called Roman Empire.

Ottomans also called themselves just Ottomans.

Bengal I am not sure. What is Nawabate?

I get overhauling the titles, but I'd only care if they were accurate. Deccan Empire should be called Bahmanid Sultanate, both the Byzantines and Ottomans officially called themselves Roman Empire, Bengal should be Bengal Nawabate.

It was, yes. Another reason to prefer Latin over French, personally.
