Beskrivning
You've decided to get away from your stressful home life and do some travelling...but your car breaks downs in the middle of a seemingly empty town. Oh well. Sounds like just as good a place as any to relax in; especially when you find out the only people in the town are a handful of beautiful, lonely girls who all seem very interested in you...

What is "But I love you."?

"But I love you." is a visual novel/dating sim for PC, Mac, and Linux...or at least, it starts off that way.

Once you get in town, the occupants all flock to you, intrigued by the stranded newcomer. At first, they try to help in their own little ways, but as they grow attached, they try to convince you to stay with them. Forever. That's when you notice things are very, very wrong in this town, from the datable characters to the setting. Once the player starts to notice a trend of the girls starting to be slightly, well, nuts, it becomes a puzzle horror game. The game still features multiple endings like a dating sim, some of them romantic, some where nothing happens, and a few where the player is...dead. You also have the option of ignoring all of the bad stuff and pretending everything is a-ok to keep scoring with the ladies.

Wow the original doki doki. It seems like the developers of this game gave up on this game and made doki doki

I understand that this is a dead game. But I feel as if too much work has been put into it to let it fade. if anything is possible, I would like to pick up from where the team left off. This means ys, I would single handedly finish this game. If anyone on the team sees this comment, please reply.

Sorry for the necro-comment, but I have to ask... Did you do a Paypal-type thing to get the extra money needed to reach the $50,000 dollar stretch goal for your Kickstarter? It's just that usually companies use Paypal after their Kickstarter campaign to secure additional funds. I was wondering this because I have an idea or two in regards to the mini-games stretch goal, but I'm not sure whether this game will have mini-games or not. If it will I'll happily share my ideas. You know, if whatever game engine you're using to create the game is capable of implementing them.
