描述
This makes Alien Genetics, which is a leaf tech that enhances biowells and xenomass into a harmony tech instead of a purity tech.
The description of biowells specifically mentions that it is good for harmony, and xenomass is harmony's signature resource so why is purity getting the tech to boost them? No reason as far as I see.

Yeah. Especially with Rising Tide which encouraged hybrids and had tech giving more than one type of affinity. I'm half convinced they didn't change this just to spite me.

Kind of funny that they'd mis-attribute it for balancing reasons when you consider that the entire point of the affinities, and the switch from a tech tree to a tech web, was to encourage people to go off in wildly different directions from one another in terms of development and playstyle.

Can you make a mod that switches building magrails from Civil Support back to Fabrication? It really annoys me that i have to go so deep into purity now just to get mag rails.

I haven't changed to for RT but it should do the same thing as it did before.

Yes. Yes it does. Probably the only reason it is purity is because they were evening things out and putting purity affinity in an area of the web where it was lacking.

Makes sense, but does this change the balance in a sense that harmony can level up faster and purity suffers?

After playing with this change it feels totally normal. I don't even realize I'm using a mod because everything seems to be exactly the way it should be. Harmony affinity is so clearly the right choice and I'm confused why it wasn't to begin with.
