Targeting a body type stack "penalty" on that body part, lowering the character's combat skill. The more debuff on the same body part, the more likely they have to get a real injury or even be maimed. A crit is just more damage.
The auto-duel button basically skip the system and give a result based on your trait difference and stuff if it is too convulted (the system was done before Paradox released their duel overhaul IIRC).
There's also a game rule where you can disable death from duels, it only give a health penalty if it is enabled.

Search for:
chivalry_champion_bloodline_effect
Inside of that, look for:
check_variable = { which = chivalry_champion_bloodline_var value = 10 }
10 is the number of victories in a row needed, increase that to make it harder. There are other ways but this is the simplest.
Nop, it doesn't rely on any DLC code.
That's what I meant too. You are supposed to have a decision to break the holy order/merc title and return to a generic gov type.
"Dismantle your Holy Order or Mercenary band"
Or maybe not, maybe it's only available in certain cases...
It's been years, trying to remember how all that code works. I THINK that manually destroying the title make you unable to be to stay merc/holy order so you revert automatically. The event mentionned above is for when the title in undestroyable.
There SHOULD be a decision in the decision menu I think?
Looked at the code and I seem to have made one, but I cannot recall exactly. It is event:
CHI.372
If you want to trigger it with the console instead.
