Remove Letterbox Artworks Mod

Small mod that removes grey patterns from letterbox bars.
Optionally removes borders completely.

Description

This small mod allows people with non 16:9 displays enjoy the game without distracting images on letterbox bars.


There are two versions of this mod available:
One that makes borders black and another that removes them completely:





Be aware, that cutscenes were made with 16:9 aspect ratio in mind, so removing bars can reveal things that were not supposed to be seen, sometimes making background in pre-rendered cutscenes bright:

Installation

• Download mod from here[www.nexusmods.com];
  
  
• Install RMM[www.nexusmods.com];
  
• Place the "LetterboxRemoval" folder in the mods folder;
  
• For black bars - do the same with LetterboxRemovalBlackBar instead
  
• Run RMM exe to load the mod;
  
• Enjoy!

I've tried using RMM with LetterboxRemoval and it made every cutscene with white lines, tried to copy the ui.par from the Windows store but it stays the same, any fixes??

You don't understand, the white lines were appearing in EVERY CUTSCENE, even the non prerendered ones. Using the ui.par from the Windows Store fixed it for me

White bars in cutscenes appear if they are pre-rendered, that's what is being rendered behind those videos, you removed bars that hid them by installing full letterbox removal. Windows store version uses black bar version.

ok... solved it by using the ui.par for the windows store version!

Hey just installed the LetterboxRemoval with ryu mod manager however there are now white bars in the cutscenes instead of the black bars! Running in 1280x800.

Updated the mod to work with Ryu Mod Manager, which allows you to bypass all of this mess with xdelta.
