-literally the entire base was spitting fire for at least 30 seconds. nothing survived.
And it's not a base unless you blow up at least one furnace - or at least shove a wave of 1000°C gas through the hallways :D
the bright shining light, the realisation of ice quantities, the gas analyzer screaming that big numbers are getting bigger, the regret that you put "build safety release valve" on the low priority todo list ....
there's no feeling quite like it.
It's a bad idea if you use to wrong hand for feeding. A couple of stacks valtiles and oxite inside the belt are a couple of stacks too much for the furnace
