CK2Plus Factions Standalone

Descrição
IF PLAYING A GAME OF THRONES PLEASE READ!
If factions don’t show up you will need to use forum version, A Game of Thrones requires dependencies are set in .mod file and that doesn’t seem to work properly in the workshop.

This mod adds four new factions originally from the CK2Plus mod and later added to HIP (Historical Immersion Project).

Court: Each member is interested above all in improving their position in the realm, though council positions, new titles and ensuring they have to contribute as little as possible to their liege be it men or gold.

Prosperity: Seeking to improve their personal finances rather than prestige, these vassals would prefer peace though they are not opposed to war as long as taxes are kept low.

Glory: War gives everyone an opportunity for Glory, as long as you win of course. So long as you keep providing the realm with regular victories and prestige these vassals will happily support you.

Tradition: Piety and victories over heathens will keep the members of the tradition faction on your side, so long as the church is not overly burdened by taxes.

Of course in addition personal relations with each and every member of the factions plays a big part in each factions overall opinion of you, keep them on side and these factions will reward you with gold, prestige, higher taxes and levy. A supportive faction membership may vote out malcontent faction leaders if they try to push an agenda against you, and vice versa. A particularly charismatic and smart ruler can overcome the opinion malus of pursuing an agenda counter to the faction’s goals and win loyalty or at the very least prevent disloyalty.

As a fan of the system in CK2Plus and HIP I found myself missing it when playing other total conversion mods and decided, with permission from Rylock and Zijistark, to adapt it as a standalone mod.

Also availble to download from the Paradox forums if you prefer.

Credits: Wiz, Rylock, Zijistark and everyone on the CK2+ and HIP teams who has contributed, this mod uses the implementation of the faction system in the EMF module of HIP. Mostly I just separated out what was already there and in a few cases adapted it to ensure compatibility with other mods.

Hi I sent you a steam friend request to ask if I could integrate this mod into my overhaul mod, giving credit to you and the original creators of course.

No update is needed, the mod works perfectly even with big mods such as AGOT. Probably because it only adds events/files, doesn't modify the ones from vanilla.

Cheers Doctor Shotgun, I have a few things on the list to look at for an update so will add that to the list.

So it seems like the missing war names are missing strings from the original 1_emf_cb.csv that weren't ported over.

Playing on 3.0.1.1 and I'm occasionally seeing revolt wars with no conflict name, which I suspect are faction-related CBs. The defending liege in my most recent case has a faction_court_war flag and the revolt leader has a faction_regular_ultimatum_taken flag, so likely an ultimatum brought by the court faction? Not sure if it's related to recent game updates as I only recently came back to CK2.
