1)I'll brighten it up for sure, I think I might get it back to a green and blue, grass summer feel to it. The contrast is much better, the thing is I have to find a good quality sphere map for the background/sky. I used one of the engine default, that's why it's all purple.
2)I tough of a platform too, not sure about the moving part, might cause sickness but I was thinkin of just freezing portal cube in the air to test out height and a good position for a top view overall kinda look. Perhaps a cube stairs and a mezanine on the side or behind the board?
1) brighten up the non-board geometry. It's hard to see the black peices on the dark background. I like the geometry of the space, but just brighten it up some.
2) is it possible to have a platform that allows a higher perspective? Some semblance of a top down perspective would be great, perhaps a moving platform that floats around the top of the board?
Seriously, cause it's such a classic game, I'd like to make it a collective thing so if you have any comments, ideas and suggestions, it's time more than ever to leave your 2 cent here since I'm still testing and haven't commit to any desing yet.
