- Nginx instead of Apache? Nginx is better in production use IMO because way better configs and performance. Last time I checked, the main Apache config file was in the tens of thousands of lines whereas Nginx config files are a simplified programming language that you write them in.
- WinSCP instead of FileZilla? Filezilla is generally untrusted nowadays due to them loading in opt-out adware in the installer and who knows what in the main binaries. WinSCP is also cleaner and provides as many features as FZ.
- Different server distro? I would prefer using Arch for this due to Arch being a much cleaner and optimized distro. Although I could see the argument against it because Arch isn't *necessarily* designed for long-term unattended use due to how updates work. Arch also has a better package manager than Debian. pacman -Syu > sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get full-upgrade
