What to bring

• HTC Vive ( including sync cable )
  
• 2x tripods
  
• VR Ready laptop
  
• VR Regatta commercial license
  
• Yoga mat
  
• Fan
  
• Headphones
  
• Extension leads
  
• HTC Vive VR Cover (Waterproof)[vrcover.com]
  
• Lens wipes/cloth
  
• Hygienic wipes
  
• Table ( or something to place laptop/monitor on )

Running a demo

In sequence

• Load "dreaming VR Regatta level" ( 'U' key on keyboard )
  
• Show on PC screen that headset and controllers are being tracked
  
• Show them controllers and which button they will need to use ( trigger )
  
• Ask them to sit down on the mat ( floor )
  
• Reset VR Regatta level ( press 'U' ) ( press "K" for an extra attraction )
  
• Help them put on the headset and adjust the straps
  
• Hand them controllers
  
• Ask them to look behind them and grab the tiller ( and push it, to start steering )
  
• You can press "H" to highlight tiller and mainsheet
  
• Once they are underway - connect the headphones and let them enjoy
  
• Monitor constantly for troubles or issues or signs that they "are done" and want out.
  
• If they are doing well, consider Race - ask if they want to do it and if so - press "O"

Out sequence

• Take off headphones
  
• Take away controllers ( and plugin in into charging station if possible )
  
• Help them take of the headset
  
• Place headset in a safe spot - make sure lenses are not pointing into direct sunlight - as this will destroy the headset
  
• Thank you for demo - ask them for feedback ( if possible, pass them to a second person to take feedback / debrief, while you prepare the headset for the next person )
  
• Clear the lenses of the headset and wipe cover with hygienic wipes ( wipe controllers also )
