Advent Voice Pack

설명
This is a fully working Advent voicepack, covering almost all actions and doesn't conflict with enemy Advent troopers. Male and female voices have been added to the Character Customization screen.

Please note that my mods has nothing to do with the old Advent Voice Pack mod:

My mod contains about 270 audio files and both male and female voices have been altered a bit to sound different from enemy troopers. For example, the female version has got an altered pitch to sound more feminine.

I made this mod because I like the old mod, but I got fed up with the missing enemy voices and sound effects (like the Shield Bearers shielding sound).

So I started to record all the voices possible in 44khz 16bit mono and created my own Sound Cue's. I followed the available sound pack tutorials to create this sound pack, first for private use, but then to share it with the rest of the world who had the same issues with the old Advent Voice Pack.

On the other hand, if you check the old mod, it does not contain a single audio file (.WAV), but uses the sound from the game it's self. If you check the sound banks, you will notice that not a single action has been linked to a Sound Cue. It uses AK Events (I'm not totally familiar with the SDK yet, but I'm trying) so my guess would be if the sound pack is not used by any active soldier during tactical combat, these events will simply NOT be played, so NO sound output for the enemy troopers.

My mod in the other hand has got custom made sound files, has got almost completly filled sound banks covering almost any action the game has and is reliable due to the fact the sounds will ALWAYS play. Also, please check the sizes of both mods: Mine is 40MB and the old mod is merly 0,4MB!

As for the headgear and props which I used for my preview clips:

Please note that this is my first published mod. I love XCom 2 and I love the mods for it. I'm not doing this for making any profit or getting a name or anything, but just simpley fixing something I loved which has been broken for months.

If you got any suggestions or bugs, let me know and I'll get into it ASAP.

Enjoy!!!

Does this work with Skirmishers?

It works if you use the AML as with most vanilla mods not designed for WOTC.

I always thought they where speaking in a distorted English because I would hear them saying words like march, or I NEED SUPPORT, or just STOP and stuff like that.

Did you record people saying things like "Kill Shot", then apply ADVENT affects and stuff to it?

Absolutely stunning work, well done! Thank you for sharing this awesome piece of art.

I've added also a MEC voice to the mod pack. This makes it even more fun! Sadly enough there are no Sectoid ones or even a Viper voice :( But that is an entirely different area of cource, this is only for the troops. But how amazing would that be?!
