Stakecar NSC 62ft - Willamette & Pacific

This mod adds 3 stakecars in Willamette & Pacific (WPRR) colors. These are repaints of the Transport Fever generic 1952 stake car.

These 62' 9" skeleton log cars were built by National Steel Car (NSC) in 1966 and 1968 for the Pacific Great Eastern Railway (PGE). Originally delivered in brown in 1966 and black in 1968, many were repainted green in the 1970's when PGE became British Columbia Railway (BCOL). In 2007, WPRR acquired 200 of these cars from BCOL.

The Willamette & Pacific Railroad (WPRR) is a United States railroad operating in the state of Oregon between Eugene and Astoria. WPRR is a division of the Portland & Western Railroad (PWRR), which in turn is part of the holding company Genesee & Wyoming, Inc.

Personal Note:
While researching this project, it appears WPRR did the absolute minimum in repainting, often times only repainting the car numbers while leaving the BCOL logo intact. I've also seen one instance where they didn't bother painting over the words "RESTRICTED TO LOG SERVICE IN CANADA", which I find odd considering the WPRR doesn't operate in Canada.
