1. Practice the basic game mechanics
- basic game mechanics like aiming, spray pattern control and movement
- This has to be practiced daily or you will loose your skills.

LEVEL 1: Knowing all the smokes & flashes and pre-fire

- Open a pre-fire map or any map training, master all the basic skills
- Stalk some youtube videos for tutorial
- Practice on empty servers

LEVEL 2: AGAINST BOTS

- Open a local map with bots
- Go to aim botz - training and training accordingly as you wish
In my case, 50 for M4 AK AWP in 3 occasions: standing still one taps, strafe and spray, all combined. And sometimes, quick scope in AWP

LEVEL 3: DEATHMATCH SERVER

- Open a community server in Deathmatch (dm) mode
- Practice all the weapons you mostly use in mm.
Exercise:
don’t worry about getting killed
don’t get angry towards other players
don’t watch your Kill /Death ratio
focus on your aiming and movement
try to put fit in 30-60min of DM practice before you play competitive Counter-Strike matches
2. Practice your game sense
What does it mean?

Your mental understanding of the map
Where the common spots on each map are
How much time it takes to get from point A to point B
Where your team is and where your enemies are
When and where to throw grenades
...

HOW TO PRACTICE YOUR GAME SENSE:

- Play competitive matches
- Play with people better than you and be willing to learn from them
- Play 1v1 or 2v2 matches with friends
- Watch broadcasts and pro streams on Youtube and Twitch…
3. Practice your team work
Playing as a team is rare in random competitive matches. Therefore it important to find a group of 5 friends to play Counter-Strike with on a regular basis.

“Best way to become a better player I would say is to find a few friends who you like playing with and try to “try-hard” on match making or find games vs other teams! And also, have fun! If you have fun you can play more -> you’ll get better!” -Adam ''Friberg'' Friberg

FUN EXERCISE:
- Play on retake servers
4. Ensure a state of mind
- Don't get tilted easily
- Don't be toxic (like if you want to swear, swear in your heart)
- Never GIVE UP
5. About body strength and mentality
Strength

- Having strength and energy in your game makes a difference, like your ability to frag. To get enough strength, is to make sure your arm is in fit shape, biceps is particularly important to make sure you can spray and flick effectively, daily push-ups or weight lifting can do the job. To get enough energy is to make sure you are ready and hyped to play the game, energy drinks or coffee, even water can do, avoid sweet stuff like soda which will make you tired.

Mentality

- To make sure you can put full attention to the game and focus as much as possible, small, adequate body exercise can keep you awake and daily exercise will also contribute to that hugely.
(Optional) PC specs and stable gameplay
- CSGO is a game that mainly utilize CPU more than GPU, so if you are considering upgrading your PC and primarily for CS, CPU should have a priority over GPU.

- A stable gameplay means no lag and good fps. To achieve that simply lower your settings as much as possible. And set launch options, you can find mutiple videos in terms of launch options on youtube and how to set it, here's mine:

-novid -console -threads 4 +fps_max 999 +cl_showfps 1 +cl_updaterate 128 +cl_cmdrate 128 +cl_interp 0 +cl_interp_ratio 1 +rate 128000 -high -tickrate 128 +autoexec
6. Simply Practice
I usually go up at 11am, cook some food and relax for a bit! Then I might stream or play other games for a few hours and then practice from 6pm->12!”
