I'd like to note, however, that when placing bus stops one should keep in mind that in the end passengers will consider using your line depending on how fast they can get to their destination (including walking part), so if your stops are infrequent, they will less likely take your bus. And if stops are frequent, it means that people get off closer to their actual destination, so more likely to use the line (and they don't usually go from one stop to the next). It's easy to fall into the "coverage mistake" with passengers and place stops to have them just cover all the required areas.
