Introduction
Welcome to this guide about No Bread Studio’s awesome SoulSet game!
I’ve played it before it was released on Steam, and was able to get all of the endings. The game is pretty hard, so I’ll try to help everyone here!
This is the same guide as can be found on my tumblr, but easier to use thanks to the sections.

This guide will be divided into three basic parts:
1 – General information and global hints
2 – Spoiler-free character hints – if you want to know what they like in order to get their good endings (both true and normal endings are good ones)
3 – Detailed guide about how to get all of the endings – this part will contain spoilers as the choices you need to make as well as some explanations can tell a lot about what’s happening.
Of course, I suggest you play the game without any guide as I did, but I understand it takes a lot of time and dedication.
Also, keep in mind this isn’t an achievement or CG guide. I’m currently missing two item CGs, but I got everything else.
General information and hints
SoulSet has a LOT of endings, and sometimes you’ll need to see the bad endings in order to access the good ones. Why? Well, the game has a unique system of “clues”. You’ll need to see some scenes in a route and then get a bad ending for that route in order to unlock the clue.
Some characters’ good endings are accessed without and in one case the clue isn’t needed for the character’s true/normal ending but in order to access their alternative endings.
Finally, the clues have colors – characters’ names on top of the text box have colors too… Yeah, the colors match – you can easily know who needs clues by checking the colors. Though keep in mind you can only get one clue of the same color in one route. It also means you need to look for clues in all of the routes, for some characters.
Spoiler-free character hints
Want to get the good endings (either true or normal) but don’t want to be spoiled? I’ll do my best to help here.
Keep in mind the fact that you won’t find hints for the secret routes – you should manage well enough with the character hints. But don’t forget, you also need to get the clues for some endings!
For the sake of it, I’ll still hide one of the characters, since they are semi-spoiler.
- Yvonne: be nice and sincere, remain interested in her tastes. Her route is very easy!
- Apris: you need to be honest and ready to help him whatever may happen.
- Shira: follow her lead and don’t hide anything.
- Shirr: don’t trust anyone easily - and I mean it, ANYONE.
- Marco: don’t treat him like a kid, and show him you’re not some naïve girl.
- Feathor: show compassion and kindness in front of and towards him.
Character routes
And finally, the main section of this guide - detailed character routes and how to reach each ending.
I’ll go by route instead of going by character – believe me, it’s easier that way. If a route has true, normal and bad endings, I’ll always tell you how to reach the bad ones first, since you’ll need that in order to get a couple of good endings.
Usually, true and normal endings are very similar – the difference is that true endings are romance related, and normal are friendship related. If you don’t care about completion, it’s up to you if you’d rather be friends or lovers, as true or normal endings won’t grant you clues anyway.
In some cases I found it very hard to unlock a clue because I couldn’t pinpoint the scene needed for it. In cases like that, I’ll write a quick summary of the choices I did in order to unlock it, but it means you’ll have to replay a bad ending. I’ll do my best to improve the guide later and make it even easier, but in the meantime, the skip feature is your friend!
On a side note, I don’t think the choices made before the card part are really important, but I wouldn’t risk it, so I usually go after the character I want to pursue (and besides, it’s interesting so you can know them better). In the same way, when you choose a romantic path for a character, I don’t think the choices made during love related scenes matter, so feel free to do as you want. It also seems you can pick any name for Shirr and it doesn’t matter, but you’ll have some dialogue changes if you actually type “Shirr”. Feel free to try both ways – I won’t mention the choice in my guide anyway.
--Yvonne's Route--
*Bad End A*
- I suppose...
- I'm fine... I think.
- Wait in the hall and keep watch over the injured girl.
- Head to the library.
- Approach Yvonne.
- Stay and try looking for information regarding dragon blood and necromancy.
- [Pick the card you like]
- [Choose Yvonne]
- Let's take the risk, then.
- I believe you, Yvonne.
- Something with fish sounds good.
- What if the truth isn't actually that complicated?
- Tea.
- Okay, that's enough.
- The locked door.
- How can I say 'no'?
- Now that you mention it...
- You're giving me too much credit, Yvonne.
- Not as cute as you.
- Would you like me to give you some space?
- Did anyone ever tell you that you're too kind?
- ...You're really one of a kind, you know that?
- Romance... hell, why not.
- I want to tell her what I remember...
- That's really considerate of you, Yvonne...
[Make a save – at this point, you’ll decide if you want the bad or the good/normal ending. If you’ve been mean to her on the route, you won’t have a choice and you’ll be locked on the bad end. Don’t get rid of this save as you’ll need it a few routes later.]
- You're right... I'd like to stay by his side.
[It doesn’t matter what you say after that]
*You got both the red and the green clue.

*Normal End*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- I'd rather stay with you, Yvonne.
- ...Hello?
- ...Mariko? You can hear me?
- Yvonne is totally cute!
- Because I didn't realize I was even there!
- It's one of the things I like about you.
[Make a save – next choice is the branching point between normal and good ending]
- Yvonne, you're a true friend.
- I care about you, too, Yvonne.

*True End*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- Yvonne, I think I like you.
- Yvonne's too cute... I don't feel like holding back.
- [Either choice]
--Shira's Route--
*Bad End A*
- I suppose...
- I'm fine... I think.
- Wait in the hall and keep watch over the injured girl.
- Head to the library.
- See what Shira is up to.
- What? You think you could do a better job?
- Head back to the hall.
- [Pick the card you like]
- [Choose Shira]
- I had the feeling you could become a strong ally.
- That they're poisoned.
[Make a save here – the next choice seems to be the main one for this ending]
- This will get us into trouble. We shouldn't hide it.
- Something with meat sounds good.
- Here's another theory: sleep-over party gone wrong.
- Bring me some beer.
- Apris, may I request some popped corn?
- The locked door.
- ... If that's what you want, I'll accept your privacy.
- Now that you mention it...
- You're giving me too much credit, Yvonne.
- 20 and 8
- Show the book to Shira despite the warning.
- ICE
- Stay quiet.
* With this I got the red and green clues

*Bad End B*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- Alright, then. Let's do it your way and hide the note.
- Don't worry. I believe you, Shira.
- Something with meat sounds good.
- What if the truth isn't actually that complicated?
- Bring me some beer.
- Apris, may I request some popped corn?
- The locked door.
- ...If that's what you want, I'll accept your privacy.
- Now that you mention it...
- You're giving me too much credit, Yvonne.
- 20 and 8
[Make a save here as the next choice is the branching point between this ending and the good ones]
- Keep this to yourself and try to acquire the piece of information on your own.
- ICE
- APRIS
- VERIN
*This got me the silver and orange clues too

*Normal End*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- Show the book to Shira despite the warning.
- You look really cute in those robes.
- Do you even have to ask?
[Make a save for the branching point between normal and true end]
- Hug her.

*True End*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- Kiss her.
- Go after her.
- Well, considering I just kissed you...
- To be honest... I was kind of wondering about that for a while now.
- I am fine with this.
- That's not so bad.
- ... Would you like to spend the night with me?
- ... I'd like to go down on you.
- I want you to know that you are my Shirapoo~
--Apris' Route--
He’s the orange character. You don’t need the orange clue from Shira’s route for his good endings, but you DO need it in order to access his alternative route.
*Bad End A*
- I suppose...
- I'm fine... I think.
- Wait in the hall and keep watch over the injured girl.
- Head to the courtyard.
- We're outside now. Want to continue where we left off?
- Head to the library.
- Go back and look.
- Looking at the way you dress, you seem to fit right in.
- [Pick the card you like]
- [Choose Apris]
- We're on the same page.
- Are you sure you don't want to use it yourself?
- No, I'm alright.
- But... Apris went back inside to fetch a blanket for me.
- I'd like some cake, please.
- What if the truth isn't actually that complicated?
- Coffee.
- Okay, that's enough.
- The locked door.
- Now that you mention it...
- You're giving me too much credit, Yvonne.
[Make a save here, as it’s the branching point between the bad and the good endings. If Mariko didn’t get close to him at this point, the option leading to the good endings won’t be here]
- Consult this with Marco and Yvonne. / Consult this with Shira and Shirr.
- I would... probably want to eliminate the thread, just to be on the safe side.
[Make a save here – it’s the branching point between the bad endings]
- Alright... I'm in. Let's do this. (mean it)
*If you’ve been following this guide, you can access the alternative route here by shouting the name. For the actual bad end, keep it to yourself. If you don’t have the orange clue, you won’t have that choice.

*Bad End B*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- Alright... I'm in. Let's do this. (lie)
- Follow Marco into the basement.
- [Either choice]
* This got me the green clue. If you didn’t get it, try doing the True End then getting back to a bad end, as I suspect the dialogue there is important.

*Bad End C*
[Load the previously mentioned save, again]
- Nobody's dying on my watch.
*This got me the red clue, but I believe you can get it on any bad end – this one was the first I got. If you didn’t get it, try doing the True End then getting back to a bad end, as I suspect the dialogue there is important.

*Normal End*
[Load the save that was the branching point between the bad and good endings – the one where you must decide if you work alone or not]
- Work alone.
- ...How about some meat? / How about a sardine?
- Try wandering around.
- Try opening it.
- Don't move.
- Try wandering around.
- Try opening it.
- Try wandering around.
- Try opening it.
- This... I would like to remember my stay here...
- Stay the way you are, then...
- A moment of honesty, then... I think I started to care for you.
[Make a save – branching point between the good endings]
- Not in the romantic way, don't worry.
- If it really can't be helped...

*True End*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- ... I find you attractive.
- I suppose I'm officially insane.
- Take things a step further and straddle his lap.
- So... another round?
- If it really can't be helped...
--Apris' Alternative Route--
Or Verin’s route. You can access it if you got the orange clue from Shira’s Bad End B when reaching Apris’ Bad End A
*Bad End*
[Load the save at the branching point between Apris’ bad endings, and go for Bad End A]
- ...VERIN!
- You can't hurt me anymore.
[Make a save here]
- Deal.
- ...Stay the way you are. [Both answers end up having the same result, but the other one doesn't have a CG]

*Normal End*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- No deal.
[And make another save!]
- Let him go.

*True End*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- Stop him and force him outside.
--Shirr's Route--
Shirr is the silver character, so it’s safe to assume you need to find the silver clues in order to access her good endings. One of the clues is on Shira’s route, and the other one is here. Because of that, you NEED to do a bad end first. Shirr’s route is very hard though, so I got the bad ones first anyway.
*Bad End A*
- I suppose...
- I'm fine... I think.
- Wait in the hall and keep watch over the injured girl.
- Stay in the hall.
- Head to the library.
- Go back and look.
- Make the best of it while you can, then.
- [Pick the card you like]
- [Choose Shirr]
[Make a save here – I couldn’t say for sure where it branches between the bad and the good endings. To be safe, I’d use this as a branching point]
- ... What are you even saying?
- Forget the potions. I want to hear your explanation.
- You've been awfully quiet ever since that's been pointed out.
- Nothing of that sort is going to happen on my watch.
- Veggies sound good.
- What if the truth isn't actually that complicated?
- Tea.
- Okay, that's enough.
- The locked door.
- I wouldn't mind.
- Now that you mention it...
- You're giving me too much credit, Yvonne.
[Save here – branching point between the bad endings]
- Head to the baths.

*Bad End B*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- Head to the library.
- Head back to Marco's and Shira's bedroom.
*This is the ending that got me the silver clue from this route, but this is also the ending I got first. I believe I got the red and green clues with no issues either

*Normal End*
[Load the save after picking her as your partner]
- The truth is out!
- Forget the potions. I want to hear your explanation.
- You've been awfully quiet ever since that's been pointed out.
- (... I'm not sure if I believe her, actually.)
- Veggies sound good.
- Here's another theory: sleep-over party gone wrong.
- Tea.
- Okay, that's enough.
- The locked door.
- I wouldn't mind.
- Now that you mention it...
- You're giving me too much credit, Yvonne.
- It makes me want to hug you.
- Slide your hand under her bra.
- Who are we talking about here?
- Marco.
[Make a save here – branching point between the good endings]
- I wasn't serious with the flirting, no. I'm not planning to get in-between you two.

*True End*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- ... And if I am interested in you?
- There are more places I can slide my hand under...
- I would like to get carried away a little... As long as you're okay with it.
--Marco's Route--
Marco’s Route doesn’t have good endings.
*Bad End A*
- I suppose...
- I'm fine... I think.
- Wait in the hall and keep watch over the injured girl.
- Head to the courtyard.
- You know... You look like you haven't slept in a week.
- Head to the library.
- Go back and look.
- Looking at the way you dress, you seem to fit right in.
- [Pick the card you like]
- [Choose Marco]
- You seemed like the most suspicious of the group.
- Don't swap the potions.
- Marco... You were with me the whole time, weren't you?
- I'll let you surprise me, as well.
- What if the truth isn't actually that complicated?
- Coffee.
- Apris, may I request some popped corn?
- The locked door.
- Sorry, but I'll have to pass on that.
- ...I was actually hoping you'd like to join me, yes.
- ...Sixteen?
- ...You're really close.
- Would you mind if I kissed you?
- We could... cuddle. If you'd like to. It's cold in here.
- You're right... This is irresponsible of me.
- Are you sure?
- Some wine sounds really good right now.
- ...Would you mind if I leaned on your shoulder?
*This should get you the green clue, as the important dialogue seems to be the one you get after you say it would be irresponsible. For the red clue, I’m honestly not sure how to get it – it took me a long time and lots of tries. If you want to be on the safe side, here are the choices I made after teaming up with him: “you seemed like the most trustworthy” – “I’m feeling a little groggy” – “I’ll let you surprise me” – “sleep-over party” – “coffee” – “that’s enough” – “the locked door” – “how can I say ‘no’” – “I wouldn’t mind going in a second time” – anything with the girls – “fourteen” – “you’re really close” – “would you mind if I kissed you?” – “keep your hands” – whatever after that.
--Feathor's Route--
This route is accessed from Yvonne’s Bad End A, once you got 5 green clues. It doesn’t have a true ending, though.
*Bad End A*
[Load the first save in Yvonne’s route – the one at the branching point between bad and good endings. If you didn’t keep it, go back to the point she asks you if you want to stay by Feathor’s side]
- You're right... I'd like to stay by his side.
- ...You honestly don't remember me, do you?
- Don't...
[Make a save here – branching point]
- ...Only so I can keep my eye on you.
- Cut the s*** out, Feathor. Stop leeching off of me.
- How old are we?
- That sounds messed up, Feathor.
- Okay, stop. I followed you to seek answers, not sex.
- Are you out of your mind? It's not happening.

*Normal End*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- ...Sure, why not.
- Fine... I don't mind us sharing my mana pool.
- How old are we?
- That sounds messed up, Feathor.
- S***, the way he said that...
* You should have the last red clue now – I got it on the first try of Feathor’s route
--The "Secret" Route--
This is basically Marco’s true end route, but not only. It has several good endings for you to get and is accessed from the card scene, after you got all of the red clues.
Basically, it unlocks a new choice after you pick your card, so you’ll have to start a new game and go back to this scene after making the choices you want up to this point. Once you draw your card, Mariko will be sure she already knows the card she got, and you’re given the option to check anyway or to believe in the heart of the cards. You need to pick the former for this route, while the other one leads you to the regular routes.

*Mariko True End*
- Check just in case.
- Should we take him upstairs?
[Make a save here, you’ll need it for one of the endings]
- Would you mind making some warm tea for him?
- You're someone who took Feathor's place in this 'game'.
- ...Are you Feathor's son?
- ...Are you my son?
- Are you Feathor's... brother?
- Are you... Feathor himself?
[Make a save here]
- You honestly expect me to forgive you for this?

*Feathor True End*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- ...You had your reasons.
- I'm the one who should be asking that question.
[Make a save here]
- Go back to being 'Feathor'.

*Marco True End*
[Load the previously mentioned save]
- Stay as 'Marco'.

*Secret End*
[Load the first save of the route, the one after taking Marco upstairs with Shira’s help]
- How about you help me out here?
- You're someone who took Feathor's place in this 'game'.
- ...Are you Feathor's son?
- ...Are you my son?
- Are you Feathor's... brother?
- Are you... Feathor himself?
- ...You had your reasons.
- Marco... do you like Shira?
- Well... It wouldn't hurt to ask?
- Don't forget that I'm also here.

And that's it! You did the last ending of the game!
Congrats!

@Nayru Yes! That was it. I misinterpreted what that comment meant earlier. When I went back and tried his route again I saw the option you meant and that was in fact the missing piece. Thank you so much for helping me with that!
Nayru 17. Juni 2022 um 3:59
@MalaShae - You might be missing two things if you're already the secret route and can't get the option to show up:
1. In Feathor's Route, after telling him to stop leeching off of Mariko, you have to be willing to agree to his little last request
2. Be sure to choose "How about you help me out here?" in the secret route itself.
Let me know if that helps!
MalaShae 17. Juni 2022 um 1:59
So, two years later and I doubt anyone will respond but just in case: I've managed everything except getting the "Marco... do you like Shira?" option. I'm sure whatever I'm missing is small and therefore hard to pick out, but ideas would be welcome!

Thanks for sharing this guide! This game has such an interesting story, and it would have been frustrating to miss out on bits.
QwanGetMad 13. Juni 2020 um 13:37
Thanks for this.
The only thing missing is using the wrong combinations for the book pages to get that last achievement.
Nayru 10. Juli 2019 um 15:44
Ven - You need to have two silver clues in your possession in order to unlock Shirr's Normal/True Route. One silver clue is in one of Shirr's Bad Ends and the second silver clue is in one of Shira's Bad Ends.
Ven 10. Juli 2019 um 13:26
Do any of the routes require you to have gotten other coloured clues from other routes? For example, im trying to get the normal/true Shirr route but even if i follow this guide to the letter i am unable to unlock them, the game still claiming i only have one silver clue out of two (the one i got from one of the bad ends). What am i doing wrong here?
EnragedDarknessWithin 25. Juni 2019 um 19:48
OK so a quick note for those of you who can't get the secret ending you need to go back to feathor's route and go to the point where he's asking for a threesome with marco that unlocks the line of dialoge that you need. That what i did also i quickly did shira;s route but that was mainly to get the creepy reader but i dont think its needed
AeonOfTime 21. Juni 2019 um 5:29
Thanks a big bundle for the guide, was a tremendous help!

For anyone that came here to get 100% achievements and is stuck:

- Follow this guide completely, but do a few things extra:
> Also follow whenever guide writer states they're not sure if things are needed, do them to be safe.
> When you get to the book page choice, also choose the other 2 (not only 20 and 8), this unlocks the book achievement.
> At Feathors route, follow everything but do an extra route where you tell him he's leeching off Marco, ask him a question (not sure if you need to choose "How old are we" or the other) and at the NEXT choice, make the choice that agrees with his plan. It's something like " All right", a choice you didn't make before. I think you need to finish this route/"ending", do it to be safe.
>If you did all this, you should get the third option at the secret route for asking if he likes Shia. If you don't get it, try replaying Shira and Shirr's endings (all) and try again.
