Aguirre and Swiss Units Project

Beschreibung
*** Aguirre and Swiss Units Project ***

This pack adds mainly units for the Viking factions and some units for the non-Viking factions. I also reskinned most of the Sea Kings vanilla units. Superheavy with custom textures based on historical sources, art, miniatures, other games and mods.

Here is the link to the thread on Total War Center:

Aguirre and Swiss Units Project
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?786180

- fully compatible with the current game version
- adapted to the normal vanilla version
- can be used with other mods which use the vanilla balance

It is fully compatible with Swiss Halberdier's other mods:

Thrones of Britannia - Unit Recruitment Strength
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?782077

Unit Pack Compatibility Languages Project - Thrones of Britannia (UPC-TOB)
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?782250

The unit names appear automatically if you play the English version. You can switch your language in the Steam options of Thrones of Britannia.
All other languages need the related UPC-TOB language file.

For their great work on shields and variation. I use many of their shields and for the campaign their variantion pack
is a must! I personally use the terrific variantion pack reborn (with shields) pack
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1499836218
But I remove the few units that I have reskinned with PFM (still use the shields).

We use his crucial, stunning shield work on our reskinned units.

Thanks a lot to Moon Hoplite and Commisar Caligula for help with porting models, animations and various questions.
Thanks a lot to Musculus Maximius and Radious for their hints about the campaign file.
Huge thanks to Dresden for his big help to create the campaign file correctly with CA's Assembly Kit.

Enjoy our units

I managed to correct the oversized bug by reorganising my mod library.

Regarding the jomsviking unit added to the sea vikings, I can recruit the hersir ones, but i can't see the regular ones. How does one unlock them ?

Thanks !

Whenever I zoom out in custom battle, and not by very far, all these units disappear. Is there a problem with the lods. I have no other mods enabled.

hi! May I borrow some of the models and tunics for a AoC reskin in Attila?
Ostrogoth2299 28. Juli 2023 um 21:34
how do you create new units in PFM? and add them into the campaign?

Hello, does anyone know if these units and reskins work ok with Shieldwall?
Swiss Halberdier  [Autor] 25. Feb. 2023 um 8:46
@Meraun
No unfortunately not. Such unit-size-increase mods do only change the vanilla units and not the custom units.
Meraun 17. Feb. 2023 um 7:31
Hey, my fellow swiss. Will this work with a mod to increase unti size?
Swiss Halberdier  [Autor] 1. Jan. 2023 um 10:52
@Arawwn
Unfortunately I guess this is not possible.
Arawwn 31. Dez. 2022 um 14:07
Hello! Thank you for your great work!
Do you have the possibility to integrate this mod:
Historical Cities and Landmarks, into yours?
Swiss Halberdier  [Autor] 24. Nov. 2022 um 9:33
@alexscrima
Unfortunately I don't know how to edit the startpos to have 12 turns per year. Check www.totalwarcenter.net , as there are for sure tutorials.
