COOP ONLINE CRY OF FEAR THAT WORKS 2020

This guide works to get online co op working for Cry of Fear in 2020 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!!!!!!\
NO PORT FORWARDING NECESSARY

WHAT THE HOST DOES

1. Open up logmeinhamachi
2. Create a new network
3. Tell your friends to join your hamachi network
4. Open up Cry of Fear
5. Host a co op campaign and choose on of the maps and make sure the LAN option is ticked
6. Start the lobby and you will be in the lobby screen.
7. Open up the console with the '~' key and type "sv_lan 0"

WHAT THE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO JOIN THE HOST DO

1. Copy the host's ipv4 address in hamachi by right clicking the hosts name in the server that the host created and clicking "copy address"
2. Open up the console with the '~' key and type the following command: "connect HOSTIP:PORT" with "HOSTIP being the hosts hamachi ipv4 address that you copied and the port being "27015" OR "27020"
EXAMPLE COMMAND: connect 39.12.13.34:27015 OR connect 39.12.13.34:27020

Now everyone should be in the lobby and the host can start. If people disconnect after you all complete a level, everyone else just has to type that command in their console again.

When I host a server and the map changes or reloads, my friend gets an error message "steam validation rejected". How can we fix this?
