Hats of Rounded Enchanting

Kuvaus
I made this mod pretty much just for personal use, but I figured there might be others out there who are vaguely annoyed by custom armour enchants having uneven values.

Basically, provided your enchanting skill is at 100, these hats fortify your enchanting skill by a number that will result in enchants that are an even number for specific enchantments (typically to 100 or 200). The "Hat of Weapons Aptitude Enchanting", for example, will let you create enchantments that fortify your One-Handed, Two-Handed and/or Archery skill by 100. Similarly, the "Hat of Resistance Enchanting" lets you create apparel with 100% fire, frost and shock resistance.

Admittedly, these hats could be considered cheating (and probably quite rightly), but they do nothing that in-game exploits don't already allow. I made them because my experimenting with the Fortify Alchemy/Restoration skill exploit gave me enchantments that I considered far too high (378% Fire Resistance is a little bit redundant). I wanted armour pieces with nice, neat, rounded values. This is what my mod does. I suppose if you could justify it further by arguing that if you've gone to the trouble of increasing your Enchanting skill to 100, you probably deserve to have enchantments of whatever value you darn well please!

The hats can be found in the wizard Farengar's quarters in Dragonsreach, in a little jewellery box thoughtfully named, "Box of Magical Hats".

Bugs:
None so far. Shouldn't conflict with anything short of a renovation of Dragonsreach, but please let me know if it does!

Great stuff, looking forward to trying this one out, thanks. And unless I return within the next five min to complain, it means this mod is exactly as amazing as I suspect it to be.

Sorry you've had a bad experience mate. Best of luck with it all!

I have tested it while NOT wearing a hat and its the same. This may have been from the dawngaurd. After installation I did the main quest and forgot all about the OP power of hats, resolving in forgetting all together about the enchanting aspect of skyrim

@Lavan - I'm very sorry to hear that! I've gone back and tried them out again to see if an update has messed with it, but they all still work fine for me. I'm not running Dawnguard/Hearthfire/Dragonborn though, and I'm not sure what those mods might do to the enchanting system, if anything. Having said that, there's really no reason they should conflict, since all the hats really do is fortify your enchanting skill, same as any alchemy or smithing modifier on any piece of clothing (there's no scripts involved). Does it still crash even without one of the hats equipped?

I have a bug where when i enchant my game freezes, the freeze/crash is when i select an enchant, for example, I have the hat on and i select the enchant fortify heath, the game crashes the second I press A/LeftClick/enter

No bugs, no compatability issues, no worries. This is just what I've been looking for. Thank you.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that! Yep, I have all the vanilla perks that affect enchanting performance. I'm also not running any enchanting mods except one that allows you to put any enchant on any piece of gear.

Does this take enchanting perks into account? What I mean to say is: if your enchanting is 100 with zero enchanting perks will you get the round bonuses, or do you need to have all of the perks to have the numbers round? (It looks like you probably have at least some of the perks since I see 2 enchantments on your example equipment)
