I no longer mod for ARK. I made this quickly to solve something that bothered me in the game, then I got rid of the DevKit altogether. This mod will continue to work for the foreseeable future on any map unless WC makes some change to the specific thing this mod impacts. Feel free to keep using it!

Ragnarok's bountiful high levels are brought to every map.

If you've ever been on one of the official maps (Island / Scorched / etc) you might know how annoyingly tedious it can be to find a high level creature. It's way easier on Ragnarok, right? Not with this mod! The mod essentially takes the same level weightings from Ragnarok and applies them to anything else, which means you'll find higher level dinos more frequently.

Without completely destroying the game balance, this mod can allow you to skip a little bit of the "searching" phase and focus more on taming. Let's be honest, ARK is grindy and time consuming enough without having to spend long hours hunting down that perfect 150.

Please Note:
I'm a complete devkit novice and I was just trying to change something that's bothered me for a while now. I welcome feedback and appreciate critiques. I might not have accounted for everything and the mod may have some issues. If so, I'm sorry - I'll try to fix it, but there's no guarantee that I'll be able to.

Technical Stuff
This mod works solely in the background which means it doesn't have any immediate visual effects, doesn't add any items, and is very light. If you use a mod with a dino scan, you should notice that there are no level 5, 10, 30, 35, 40, 65, 70, 75, 80, 105, 110, 115, 120 or 125 (if using difficulty 5) creatures. You may have to perform a dino wipe after installing the mod.

This mod does not stack with Equalized Dino Levels or High Level, and likely other spawn-weight changing mods.

No existing creatures will be affected, and the mod can be uninstalled easily without any lasting impacts. Your wild dinos will just resume spawning as normal.

This mod does NOT remove low level creatures altogether, it just makes higher level creatures a bit more common.

Modded creatures are affected by this mod, as well as modded maps. Feel free to use the mod for any purpose!

I need help with this mod, I installed it and since it didn't convince me so much, I deleted it. The problem is that now all dinos spawn at level 20, 30, 55, 60, 85, etc. Is there any way to fix this error? I want them to come out like the previous levels in vanilla (11, 67, 109, 43...), similar to these. Please, any solution? :steamsad:

@123 - No idea, never tested it.

@Final Fantasy - Thank you for that, even though I don't actually mod anymore it's good to see this mod is useful.

@Crabby - No ini settings from this mod. It simply overwrites a single hidden setting in the game. Controlling the max level ratio (like having level 5-150 versus 6-180, etc) is done via difficulty, which is a setting you can change without mods.

@Sir Spoony - It's just meant to change it to more Ragnarok-like settings. Dinos shouldn't exceed level limitations at all, ever, which means there's likely some other mod doing that. And yeah, no ini settings, but if you want to force an overall min/max level use the vanilla difficulty setting.

Not really "Bountiful"....but one thing I do notice is a bunch of lvl 66'ers flodding the maps. A couple other "same" numbers seen more often than not. The 66s and 150s are like half the spawns then random the rest.

One interesting thing though, it Ultra-rarely allows is a Dino to exceed the level limitations, which isn't a bad thing at all, but ultra rare.

I just wish there was a default .ini setup for this to force level ranges MIN/MAX
Crabby 13.7.2023 klo 16.34
is there anyway to control the max level ratio in the ini files?
