The forgotten, unforgiving darkness

After the destruction of Grimrock, a new dungeon, long forgotten, was found shortly afterwards, although bareing the same brand as the undying's prison, it was not the same prison. They who sent the adventurers into the depths of Grimrock had to delve deep within their texts to discover it's origins, and all they where able to discover, where tales, myths, of it's origins at best, but all they had to go with, they discovered that the Goromorg's, the mages covered in darkness, created the new found dungeon, they gave birth to the unholy ground that is their home. But, there where warnings in the texts they found, showing that while the Goromorg's where meant to guard Grimrock, and prevent the Undying one from being revived, that although the undying, while evil in nature, was confined so that it may contain the darkness which lies beneath it, now those who forced the undyings maker into his depths, force them once more unto the breach, in hopes that they will be able to vanquish the evil which is even beyond the power of the goromorg's.
