I'm playing as the Visigoths and without their forces I can't seem to win the battle.
It is fun trying though!
I absolutely love the idea of this mod - and I've tried custom battles where it worked great - but for whatever reason that opening battle is a bit off (no forces have ever not engaged (from any side)) and I've played it about 10 times. (Always without this mod because I didn't realize it existed till a few weeks ago.
I don't think it's a bug, or a problem, it's just something I wanted to report.
I don't think it makes a difference, but I was playing on 'normal difficulty' when usually I play on 'easy'.
I'm going to keep replaying the battle as different factions to try to learn more.
Now a really diverse distribution of AI traits. More radical differences between AI generals. Reduced bonuses for infantry formations.
