This mod adds a custom item to the loot table known as the "Pocket Kit" which as you may have guessed is used for sewing pockets onto clothing. It should work on just about every vanilla pair of pants and shirts (aside from one or two already large military clothing varients) and also on the hunting bag. I like to play on RP servers here and there and one complaint I hear alot is that too many people wear military clothing, hopefully this will serve as a partial method of combating that. That being said I think an item like this also fits in the more standard style of playing dayz anyway so go to town. Let me know if I miffed one of the recipes or something, I hope you enjoy this mod ^_^


Just to clarify in case anyone is confused: So normally a t-shirt has 12 slots (4x3), if you find this sewing kit and use it on the tshirt the tshirt will now have 30 slots (6x5). will work like that on almost all the vanilla clothes except some already in the biggest size range.

Hey buddy love the mod idea, do you allow modifications for this mod? We wanted to make it compatible with some modded clothing, tinker with some slots amounts and even make a custom texture for the pocket kit then add it to our mod. We would of course give gredits to you.

JRKLeathersewingkit is the class name of the PocketKit, so if you dont hvae that in your types with a nominal add that in

Hello,
i've added your mod on my server but it seems to me that this item doesn't spawn anywhere. Should i add some particular class name in types.xml ?

thanks for the update that fixed arm textures for shirts and dresses, i notice i cant fix the items with sewing kits or duct tape. still great mod! i prefer to wear civilian clothes when i play and this mod is fantastic!

Hey wasteland! thanks for point that out, I noticed that as well and have been meaning to push a fix. This mod was half abandoned but I've been using it recently on my server and have a few ideas for some cool features, kinda been holding out in the back of my mind for a change scriptside as to how inventory size is handled so I could refactor the whole mod. All that nonsense bein said the fix for the sleeve textures is really easy and I'll be sure to push it really soon

Hey, this is a great mod, I did however want to bring a little bug to your attention;
Short sleeved tops seem to bug out when being turned into the JRK version; the JRK version of them, such as the T shirt and collared dress, have sleeve texture glitches. Was wondering if you had seen or experienced this, and if you planned on making a fix for it?
