Kouji San's Nostalgia Aliens

Description
The original aliens: the brown Skulk, the beige Gorge, the grey/brown Lerk, the black Fade and the red/orange Onos are back in buisiness. 10 years in the making, well not really, but you get the idea...

There's actually a pattern with the first 4 aliens. One has a name ending with K, then E, then K, then E again, then the onos rejects it with a freakin S. So out there.

I was a major NS player back in the day, as soon as I work up enough money to get NS 2, I'm getting this mod.

Not that hard actually, but the purpose of this pack is to bring back that nostalgia look from NS1 back to NS2. Which is the reaon why it is a texture pack including all aliens. However I can understand a need for something like that, I guess. I'll have a look at providing that option as well.

Most retexture mods are split up by each alien...
How hard would that be to do?

kouji, it's because emissive map is not used in usual lerk .model file, you can mod it yourself, in /models/aliens/lerk/
maybe you can ask devs to add it themselves, because it's possible that .model files would be added to consistency check

Yep, they only affect what you see. Basically changing the colors of certain models. In this case changing the purple-ish aliens into the nostalgia aliens color theme. Mods like these are also white listed on servers that check for consistency. The same goes for the Crosshair mods

So i just picke up NS2 today, im intrested in your collection, but what i dont understand is how the mods affect my game. Im assuming your packs are a texture replacement that only affects my client correct and i can see these textures on any server i play on they just affect me?
