PowerFang's Increased Vendor Gold

***** Description *****

I was sick of having to sleep for 48 hours constantly to reset vendor gold. There is no advantage to finishing the game in a set number of days so its is simply an inconvinience when you are trying to clear your inventory for gold. So this mod gives you 1 vendor that should have enough gold to easily clear your inventory in 1 sitting.

The vendor i modified is the RiverWood Trader vendor in RiverWood - Lucan Valerius

***** What does this mod do specifically? *****

It simply changes the COUNT of the VenderGoldMisc item in the RiverWood Traders Chest to be 39 (39 * 750 = 29250 gold) - for some reason after i go over 30000, the vendor only spends the gold on him i.e. 30 gold So 29000 was the max value i could get to work correctly.

I need to investigate further.

***** PowerFang Mod's *****

I'm making a bunch of small mods to improve the various aspects of the game that i've felt needed changing. My mods are small but it just means you can turn on and off what you do and dont want. So if liked this mod, there may be another mod i have done that you would enjoy on my workshop page:

Because I killed him and recycled the actor - Lucan Valerius doesn't buy/sell anything, but his wife? or sister? (probably both lol) now has over 190,000 gold.

Soooo much better than travelling from merchant to merchant trying to sell everything.

Thank you

@The Chimera Sell items to him then but.

When you invest in Lucan, it pushes his gold over the 30,000 mark, therefore breaking this mod.

Still not paying for my stuff. May have to kill him after all.

Could you make the gold go higher? like 2,00000

@PowerFang [author], {Just repeating my 4-22 comment with you addressed}
Bethesda ... may the Nine forever curse them for their stupidity ... created the 30,000 septim trap for ALL vendors so they stop paying for your goodies when their gold reaches that cap. You will have to reduce their Gold to something like 20,000 to avoid the "Cap-Out" trap when Dovahkiin ["D"] invests in vendors and raises their available Gold. With this cap, D can NEVER get full value for selling even a single high-end Armor [like any Shrouded or Jester item (values are somewhere over 100,000 @)].
As it is, D will have to be SURE to sell his stuff FIRST, to ensure Lucan's cash is well reduced, before buying anything from him [or any other merchant with similar amounts of gold]. I am going to sub and fav this, but if you don't reduce their initial gold, I'll have to drop it when D starts to invest in businesses.

That's a good collection you've put together. Kudos!!

With gold at 29K, wearing amulet of 10% increase prices raises his gold over 30K, and he stops paying for items!.

If you also have invested via the speechcraft perk, it raises his amount to 39000 instead of 29000.

As of now, 2/17/12, it's not working for me, although it worked before.
This is very odd.
