how to get a free items

hi my name is hatty, Today i gonna teach you how to get free items.

1.completing achievements

completing achievements is easy, some achievement may only unlocked at some event like halloween, christmas. this is the following cosmetic you got from completing achievements: ghastly gibus, pyrovision google, bombinomicon badge, skull island topper, fancy spellbook, Horseless Headless Horsemann's Head, monoculus eye, etc.

2. item drop system

did you know that you have a rare chance to get a cosmetic drop? maybe some of you don't know but good thing is you know now :D.
(source: tf2 wiki) This system was first introduced with the Sniper vs. Spy Update to change distribution from being dependent upon achievements. Its purpose was to improve accessibility to the expanding quantity of items within the game, while negating the need to achievement farm (meaning to perform out of context actions to gain achievements) or use third-party tools to falsify the obtaining of achievements. However, this system created another way of farming to obtain new items called idling.
As of the July 11, 2013 Patch, the Item drop system has changed. Players must now accept new items dropped before proceeding to another item drop, in a move to prevent players from idling.
The current item drop system was introduced on April 20, 2010. Players are guaranteed to find items at regular intervals of 30 to 70 minutes, with an average interval of 50 minutes.

3.begging

yea yea i know beggging is illegal, but i did it 2 times with some nice people :). but how do i beg??? it's easy, just go to community-discussions-team fortress 2-start a new discussions-and type how do you like to beg
