Description
Hi everyone!
here we are with another blood knights unit, this one was asked to me a while ago, i hope you like it and if you do, consider a thumbs up :)


WHAT THE MOD DOES
- It adds for all the vampire factions (Vampire counts, Von Carstein, Mousillon) a mounted unit of blood knights with greatsword.
- Custom cloaks, shield, officer and card, you can see them in the screenshots, there is also some retexture of the horses armor, let me know what you think.
-Custom ability, Blood Knight's Hunger.
- Recruitable with the first level of the vampire cript but it required like vanilla level 2 armory (for that i have lowered their prices a bit).

COMPATIBILITY AND ISSUES
Should be compatible with everything since it adds only a unit to the roster. I've tested in custom battle and not extensively in the campaign. Tested also with highly modded game and it works.
There is some clipping with an helmet, if this bother you guys, i can remove the helmet :)

BALANCING AND SUGGESTIONS
As before, i tried to balance looking at vanilla and other greatsword mounted unit, but they could need balancing. Please let me know what you think about balancing, stats, abilities, number of unit ecc, it is important for the mod :)

I am of course open to any suggestions.


GEMFX's preset used is the same as Valius Forta's Full Plate State Troops, you can find it there with instructions too.

Thanks for letting me know about it, i should have fixed it and the ability shows up properly in the unit card^^

Does the custom ability show on the bottom of their unit card? I was using them in campaign yesterday and couldn't see anything on the bottom where the various abilities and affects are listed that mentioned them regening in combat/hunger? Or is it an 'invisible' effect?

Just tweak the amount of regen they gain probably, or its frequency :) sorry i didn't explain but yes, a distinction like that cannot be made. The tweaked ability is to refer to the fact that they drink on only those foes, but i will also explain that in the description of the ability, so to justify the regen changes :)

How would you be able to tweak it so they only feed on the most valiant foes? I am curious to know how the game mechanics are able to make it work? :o And I don't believe they are/would be op, they seem quite balanced for such a late game unit.

So here's the plan, tell me what you guys think about it: i can make a custom ability for my blood knights, it will be like the hunger but with tweaked stat, so that will match what it is said in the lore. In fact blood knights theoretically should drink only the blood of the most valiant foes, so that they will become stronger. It is understandable to me that this can be made in a tweaked "the hunger" ability.

I'll wait a little bit for feedback, to not make them too OP i can diminish the amount of total HP maybe.

Hey sorry for the late answer :)
You're right, they now have regeneration, so i will probably remove this and put the hunger instead^^
I have to check something before doing this, i can make the ability more "loreful" if what i want to do is possible
