I want to submit a suggestion, where should I do?

It is planned to translate this freeware into the most common languages?
Actually not. I'm not able to do that myself.

Sometimes English syntax is incorrect, why?
English is not my native language, I practise it every day but it is not perfect.

The picture show that the server is ON but it is not showing up in servers list, why ?
First, you will need to know that the picture go ON when 'ShooterGameServer.exe' process go ON.
So, it can happen for some reasons:
- The server is still in launching phase
- You missed a launch setting
- A launch setting has been badly filled
- You got a problem with port opening

It is possible to use this tool for multiple server instances?
Not now. Not planned.

It is planned to add a mod loader?
Yes, I'll try.

How to use a custom map? The Volcano for instance?
Right now it's not possible.

After the tool update, I got an error, why and what to do?
Go on your Desktop. You have a new folder containing the updated app. You can delete the outdated app.

I've the error "Could not start process ShooterGameServer.exe"
That can happen for some reasons:
- You choose the wrong path. You must choose the 'SteamCMD' path, not his container. You must fill the folder containing the 'SteamCMD.exe' file.
- Some files are damaged or missing. Redownload the server files.

How to enable Custom Command Line Arguments & Options?
Click on the little picture at right of the both textboxes.

Where are stored backups?
In your SteamCMD Folder, you should have a new folder called 'ARKSO - Server Backup'. In this folder, you have each backups stored by date & hours. AutoBackup is limited to one per day.
Be careful that your drive is not overdriven, in which case the backup will not be made. It is also possible that it causes a crash of ARKSO.

I'll try to resolve this. Thanks for the log. Maybe resolution could be quicker by instant message, I add you to my friend list.

OK, it crashed on me again and here is the relevant clip from the exception. I have the entire thing as well if you need it:

"System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Value of '103' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between 'minimum' and 'maximum'.
Parameter name: Value
at System.Windows.Forms.ProgressBar.set_Value(Int32 value)
at WindowsApplication1.Form2.Timer1_Tick(Object sender, EventArgs e)
at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.OnTick(EventArgs e)
at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.TimerNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)"

No, sorry for the mistake. There is no log. But vb apps gives an error message on crash. Do you have one?
Skjarl Aug 14 @ 8:54am
I'd be happy to, but I don't see any logs in the folder the ASO .exe lives in. Also I don't see anything in the event logs, but that makes sense since your source code doesn't appear to write anything to it. Does it drop the log somewhere specific?
Cracky  [author] Aug 14 @ 8:50am
I am not sure about the source of the problem. Could you send me the crash log?
Thanks for your feedback!

This is a great tool, Cracky. Thanks for writing it. I am having a problem though. ASO throws an exception and crashes every *other* night. Pretty sure it's happening right after the backup completes since the server instance is down when I look at the console the following morning. Anyone run into this or even better, fixed it? Since it's happening every other night, I suspect something isn't being handled/cleared properly from the previous night's backup and leftover data somewhere is breaking things.

@Skeetzy thanks for your help! I really appreciate it!

@Holllowmeister if your hosting in the same computer you play, I think you did something wrong. Check your install is complete and not corrupted and check your install path and your launch settings are good :)

@Skeetzy which parameters are they?
Skeetzy Jul 5 @ 1:43pm
So really, there is no issue with ARKSO or this tool, just an issue with that website and the .ini file it generates for you. Doesn't work with the current build of ARK. Your tool works perfectly so far, zero complaints!
Skeetzy Jul 5 @ 1:41pm
@Cracky I actually was able to narrow down the issue all together. That website I linked to previously helps you generate a gameusersettings.ini file. However, it's slightly out of date, so it's missing a few parameters the server looks for. Since it's missing info, the server resets the gameusersettings.ini back to default.

The workaround is to go line by line and replace what's missing.
