Quick Guide for Counselors.

Counselor

1:Fortify every door, or lock them if they don't have 1 health.

2:DON'T trap open doors, it will probably trap another counsellor.

3:Any light source will reduce your fear. Keep your flashlight open at all times to reduce fear.

4:Wait for jason to break the door, then attack him when he's still in the breakin animation. (Fortified doors break in 6 hits, Normal 3, depends on if jason has destruction perk) Some jason might use combat stance and hit the door, time your strike right and you might hit him when he hits the door.

5:Don't lock doors that have 1 health, seriously you're just stopping others from having a faster route than the window.

6:Not many people might not know this, You can actually cancel your attacks, to do this you go into combat mode by pressing C and then pressing the block button M2 while you're still swinging, this will let you run after missing or just stop the hit if the combat mode locks onto your friends like an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

7:You can still hit jason while he's breaking your door by doing a power attack. C + Hold M1, you can still get hit by his weapon if you're too close when he's hitting it.

8: Firework works when he's breaking your door.

9:Jog to keep your stamina from being depleted too fast. Press X to toggle Walk/Jog. Always keep your stamina high.

10:Standing still regenerates your stamina faster then crouching.

11:If you're with someone, don't leave them alone. Teamwork completely destroys jason if done correctly.

12:Always use the combat mode when you're facing jason, this will allow you to lock onto him to have more accuracy, might ♥♥♥♥ you up if someone else is with you.

13:If you have an objective part, and it's trapped, leave it by the objective. Hold Z to drop large items, find some med spray and step on it. (Jason might come to check)

14:If your character has less stealth then 5, don't even try to be stealthy, your job is to stall jason for a long time.

15:While repairing, you can let go of the E button and Hold it again to initiate a new skillcheck, meaning the game will give you a skillcheck for your repair skill, so you can keep doing this until you get the easy skillcheck you want.

16:Fear reduces your stamina's regeneration rate, keep your fear low at all times.

17:You can block jason's knives, C + Hold M2.

18:If jason attacks you and you block, you may swing faster then he recovers and stun him.

19:If you have a gun and someone gets grabbed, shoot jason in the feet. otherwise you might kill whoever he has grabbed.

20:If you have a gun, don't use it immediately unless it's an emergency.
You could have it used when you're escaping or saving someone instead because gun has a tremendously increased stun time that will let you get away or escape.

Driver

1: Stunning jason before activating the car is alot more better, giving you the time to activate the car and have some distance.
Flare gun might not give you enough time to activate the car before he's able to pull you out.

2: If jason is infront of the car, don't reverse until the end of the day, find an offroad or juke him with left-right motion.

3: If jason starts shifting while you're driving, move the car left or right and make him get stuck on the road railings.

4: Having more people in your car means more defense, meaning you will have more help and time to get them out of the camp.

5: Try to remember the map, it's only 3 maps so it's not that hard, it'll help you alot when you're driving with high fear.
If you drive with high fear, even if your fear goes down the minimap will not come back, so you'll have to get out of the car for it to come back.

Boat

1: Don't zig-zag unless you hear the music (Could use stalk) it'll only make you lose speed and let jason catch you.

2: If jason is a fast underwater type of jason, quickly turn the boat and drive back to the land, you're not getting alive out of it if you don't. Try again at a later time.

3: If jason caused the boat to crash at a farther distance, don't try to get on it unless you have aquanaut, or jason has slow underwater perk.

General

1: Leave your valuables at the end of the road just before escaping so you don't ♥♥♥♥ up others (if you escape with fuse for example) or might come in handy for others.

2: Don't be selfish please, you have more strength if you just teamup.

3: If you have more then 1 pocket knives, share it. That ♥♥♥♥ saves lives.

4: Heal others if you have a spray, Warning: It might make you heal yourself even if you have the tiniest bit of scratch on you, so drop it on the ground unless you have the perk called Medic.

5: Stop shift jumping through windows, it still hurts you whether or not the window is broken.
