This is a compatibility patch for Kiory’s Anti-Materiel Rifle 25 KKiv Model 2035 that adds CBA Joint Rail and ACE3 Ballistics Support.

Features:

- ACE3 Ballistics integration. (it will detect if you have ACE3 running and cause no dependency issues)

- CBA/Joint Rails Support. (Requires CBA, lol, everyone uses that anyway all the time, it’s no longer a choice between this rifle and your 50gb modeset - you can have both.)

- Removed the whitelist based restriction for the rails that was put in for some reason, so that even if this mod worked with other mods, you’d be limited to vanilla-only attachments. You can now put any attachment from any properly made mod on any compatible rail.

Also APDS doesn’t fly for a million miles without dropping anymore

And HEDP goes a little further

This has been tested extensively in both Singleplayer and Dedicated Multiplayer with a large group of people with no errors ;) .

Do whatever you want with this including incorporating it in your mod, idgaf, that’s what Arma’s community is built on, if you find any errors or have input on the ace ballistics values comment below and i will look into it.

@Kiory If Lego required you to get legal permission in order to use their products with any other toy, then proceed to threaten you if you do; I HIGHLY doubt they would have become the now largest toy company on the planet.

The fact that you think people using your product however they wish is 'rude' or constitutes Copyright Infringment, speaks volumes about your severely warped sense of logic and reasoning, as well as your character as a person.

I believe he was referring to your 'twat-like' behaviour (including the very comment I am responding to now) not that you released something for free. No one is doubting the quality of your original mod, but that doesn't give you the right to dictate how people use it.

Regarding your error in judgement and what you've overlooked: Well for starters the fact that the person who hired you didn't want to pay you for ACE3 support, not that he wanted it legally restricted; As well as the very definition of Copyright.

@SnakeDoc | 85th if you want to use a lego analogy, then the lego's were already out to play and free to use for anyone, what's happened here is someone has taken the set I made, and made it work with another without asking, a bit rude.

Look I'm already over this and far too fucking busy to give a shit anymore, do what you want guys, make it compatible with whatever you want I've clearly made an error in judgement and perhaps I've overlooked something, but calling me a twat because I had released something for free, and as intended, is a bit fucking much.

@Kiory See below how someone asked for something realy simple and this guy just did it instead of acting like a child who doesnt want anyone to use his legos differentely to him? see how simple that human interaction was, hope that next time a situation like this occours you act like less of a twat ;)

I was thinking one that didn't have the ACE ballistic alterations. My apologies for the confusion.

@V. Berlioz This patch works without ACE, only CBA is requried. If you run without ACE the game will just ignore the variables set. Or did you want a version that doesnt require CBA? :\

Perhaps sometime down the road, the CBA and ACE compatibility patches could be split up into seperate mods? I really want to see what the APFSDS can really do range-wise when given the LRPS PRO scope from the KA Viking .408 addon.

@McRide The ATragMX is a little beyond my understanding and math skill. This patch really only references CBA rails instead of vanilla one and applies very basic ACE ballistics coefficients. There are however instructions on the ACE3 wiki on how to add guns to the ATragMX [ace3mod.com] or you could try asking on Kiory's workshop page, as he is also making an optional compat patch.

Once this whole DMCA mess blows over, any chance you can add a 25mm entry to the aTragMX calculator? No idea if that's possible but it would make precision shots with this thing so much easier!
