@Adul
Thanks for the info! I'll be looking forward to it.

@Baleful I believe Valve is currently evaluating games that are not yet Greenlit to see which ones should make it through before the arrival of Steam Direct. If Queen of the Vesparians is not greenlit for whatever reason, we'll look into adding it to the Steam library through Steam Direct.

What now? Greenlight is gone, will we see this game in store?

Steam, as far as I can see, is a place for any game, no matter if it short or long, good or bad, interesting or boring.
Improvements in gameplay length and other stuff, if any will be, will be appreciated, of course. (Linux support will be super appreciated, by the way! )

I guess its a unfair comparison but I think this about the same type of experience as brothers a tale of two sons a game you don't replay nor regret playing so I see no reason to why this should not be on steam and I hope your team keeps improving until that day you are able to make a product you consider worth selling ;)

The design looks interesting, and the idea seems to be quite unique as well..
Thats an upvote!

Puzzle, Adventure. Free. If only it also had Linux support...
Upvoted anyway. Free game not always means bad game.

@lokust I'm sorry you feel that way, but you are of course entitled to your opinion. But please keep in mind that this game is completely free, and will remain so even if it gets on Steam. The reason we decided to put it up here is that we think it meets the quality standard expected of a Steam game, and we want to share it with more players who might enjoy it.

@DavidGendo

I am sick of people who made a game for a competition thinking they can just upload it on greenlight without putting the time and effort in.

If this dev thinks they have something then they should put their mooney, time and effort in before expecting us to put our money, time and effort in.

Its a simple case for me, would you walk into your local games store hand them this on a disc and say "will you sell this for me". If the answer to that is no, then don't bring it to steam.
