Aberoth is a fantasy massively multiplayer online role playing game with charming retro graphics and loads of freedom.

Play before you vote!

Aberoth is free with no download or registration required.

You start your adventure in an orcish prison with no possessions or skills. Once you escape, your journey of exploration begins. To survive, you must acquire items, learn skills, and join forces with other players to combat the hordes of enemies who inhabit the world.

What makes Aberoth unique?:
  • No dungeon instancing.
  • Only one server, no shards.
  • Enemies pick up and use equipment, potions, scrolls, and magical items they find.
  • Dropped items never disappear.
  • You can build permanent structures with items.
  • Unrestricted trading. There are no soulbound or no-drop items.
  • Full PvP. Player killing is allowed almost everywhere (but the game contains many anti-griefing mechanisms).
  • Tame monsters and make them your pets.
  • Polymorph yourself and play as a monster.
  • Over 160 unique items to discover. Item graphics are never reused for different items.
  • Over 30 different monsters to defeat.
  • Over 45 quests to complete.
  • 15 large areas to explore.
  • 9 Non player characters to interact with.
  • 8 unique skills to master.
  • Free to play with no download, installation, or registration required.
  • New content every Friday.

System Requirements:

Aberoth will work on any computer that has Java installed. It will also work without Java in most modern browsers using HTML5. You can play in a web browser or download a stand alone client. Aberoth has minimal system requirements and works well on low end systems, even mobile devices!

You really couldn't find a better game that is and always has been operated by one person.

The base game is nice, but the PKers ruin it for everybody, unless you enjoy being one shot for no reason avoid the game. The "anti griefing" measures are so lenient they may as well not exist as far as low level or new characters are concerned.

I've been playing this game nearly 4 years now, and I've got to say Jarbit has done a fantastic job at making a game! This game would probably be my number one all time favorite if it wasn't for the "new" community nowadays. The community is just a lot of faggots and trolls. Sorry to sound mean but it's the truth!

But you should really atleast play a bit of the game and get a whiff of what it's all about.

I've defended this game since it was first put on steam greenlight, but now I can officially say that it's been ruined. The community is more toxic than lol, and the creator is currently only tailoring the game for end game users and members(premium service). This game is honestly not worth your time.
