The Tanoa Tides Mod brings you a working Tidesystem for Tanoa into your Game. It orientates itself on the current InGame time and changes the Sealevel smoothly.
You can actually set the Minimum / Maximum impact of the Tides by yourself and even explore the Ocean floor of Tanoa.

Setting the values requires a bit knowledge about Mods but feel free to ask for any Help.
You can set the Tide impact in the pbo itself by editing the config.

Example 1 (default):
MinTide = 1;
MaxTide = -6.5;
Enables the Tidesystem like it's shown in the pictures.

Example 2:
MinTide = 50;
MaxTide = 50;
Tanoa is completely flooded. The Sea level is now 50 Meters above default.

Example 3:
MinTide = -150;
MaxTide = -150;
You can explore the Ocean floor of Tanoa.

This work is licensed under the Arma Public License[]

This mod needs to be run clientside because it overrides some values of the Map.
Serverkey included.

Hi. I am trying to make the tidesystem work for a custom map (Tembelan in my case).
I have changed the line in CfgWorlds to: "class Tembelan : CAWorld"
However no luck making it work yet. Any tips on how to make it work for custom maps?

It won't save my changes to the min/max tide and it is upsetting me. It keeps changing everytime I click save and then exit the notepad it just resets.

Hi Nico, kann es sein das du min und max vertauscht hast? Auf unserem Server, der in Realtime (Standortzeit = Serverzeit / 24 Std.) läuft, ist es nämlich IMMER Ebbe. Sollten die default Einstellungen nicht MinTide = -6.5 (6,5 Meter unter Normal) und MaxTide = 1 (1 Meter über Normal) lauten?

because that takes a lot of work etc. Its already a good mod, so stop complaining. If you're really desperate or actually wanting to use the mod in a module style, go make it yourself. Stop expecting others to just make it for you...

why can you not just make this simpler. like a module to use in zeus. I wanna do a zeus mission were there is a flood and stuff... but I don't wanna create an entirely new mission for that.

Yes, but you need to change the "requiredAddons[]" and the class under CfgWorlds for your Map

Along with other advanced environemntal emulations (dynamic weather, electrical grid, train simulator), I'd say this is impressive equally so!
