The Cheetahmen Board Game

Description
This is a board game based around the hit NES Action 52 title The Cheetahmen that I made back in college. It's fairly simple and seeks to recreate playing the (mostly buggy) NES game in a board game form.

2-3 players

The 3 playable characters are Aries, Hercules, and Apollo and each player starts the game with 3 lives and 3 HP/life.

A player rolls one six-sided die on each of their turns to determine how far through the level their cheetahman moves.

If the player lands on a spot with go ahead or go back, that player must place their cheetahman where the spot indicates and do whatever that square says. If the spot was a warp zone, that player recieves an extra life and then warps.

If the player lands or is moved to an "enemy" square, then they must roll a die. On a 1 or a 2 the player takes a hit and loses 1HP. If the player takes 3 hits, they die and respawn at the beginning of whichever level they are currently in losing a life and restarting at 3HP with the next life.

If one player's die roll lands them on another player's square, those players have a brawl (This does not include if that player was moved to a square from another one). Each rolls a die and the highest roll gets to send the other cheetahman/cheetahmen back 2 spots and then does whatever that square says (if anything). Nothing happens on a tie.

Each player must stop at each boss square regardless of how much movement they have extra. Once at a boss square, they must roll a six-sided die and get one of the numbers next to the boss to defeat it. If they fail to defeat the boss, they take a hit and end their turn. If you beat a boss, progress your cheetahman to the next level. The final boss takes 2 hits over 2 turns to beat. If you hit the final boss, take a final boss damage token to indicate your hit.

If a player lands on the Warp to Level 3 square or Hidden Warp Zone to Level 3, they will roll a six sided die and on a 1, 2, or 3 will go to the top right Level 3 starting location and 4, 5, or 6 the bottom right Level 3 starting location.

The first player to beat the final boss or the last remaining player wins.

Can anybody please help me? I am stuck on this ladder and can't figure out how to get up. My brothers are dead and I have 1 HP, the light is fading from my eyes, and hope is fleeing from my body... I didn't know this was going to be a Getting Over It game.

2.5/10

@facetious Oh! I had to clarify the brawl rule because I noticed something similar. You only brawl if your roll moved you to a square not if a square moved you there. That's to prevent the loop.

Glad you liked the game!

This game was actually fun. I had two cheetahmen battling on the space after go back to level 2 so whenever they fought, they keep moving back 2 spaces to fight again. They were stuck in limbo so I left them behind while the other cheetahman won easily.
