The game is fun... late-game, early game is really a rough-edge if you start wrong.. Thank the heavens that the older players are extremely kind thus far. The community is truly what is making this game during the Beta. Overall it is a fun time-killer and I'm enjoying the Beta.

Beta is excellent and constantly getting better. Updates are smooth and well implemented without breaking what is going on. Community inside the game is active and friendly.

The idea is nice and choud work realy well, but the grafic stile looks like "Revenge of the Exelcharts". You shoud realy work to make it look not so confusing, and get the informations the player need better to the player than in raw number colums.

But with most of this games : It will come down to the combat system. If you can make it fun and engaging, and still give the samler players a way to influence fights it might work out. But when you play on another 2 exelchars comparesment combat with no deapth i think it will fail.

While the game is still in beta it is already quite intriguing. Be the lord of a medieval land and maybe rise as far King? Yes please! The mechanics are simple and effective. One of the things that I look forward to each time I log in is "What's new this time?" Seriously, one of the best parts of my day is when I log in and there's been an update. I always feel like a little kid at christmas. A beta game always has room for improvement, but again, it’s a beta, it ain't quite done yet. The game is developing rapidly and continuously evolving. The Devs are quick to respond to bugs and glitches and are quite active in the public chat. Blackbadger Labs is attentive to the the game they have created and not only strive to make it better, they also strive to include as many of their players suggestions as they can. It's always nice to see developers who care about what their players think. All in all this is a great game! I look forward to seeing what happens next!

Hey Jerry, well we want the game in all mediums, and it actually started out as a desktop app (a stand alone chrome app), then we redeveloped it as a web app and now we want to develop a steam based desktop version of the game as well. We don't see any reason why a game that happens to have a browser version is somehow worse.

I still think, this is rather the kind of game, one would play in a browser. As it already exists as a browser game, as you say, there is no need to publish it on Steam. There are better ways for you to broaden your userbase, than to put it into a medium, that does not suit it.
