Equipment Slots Overhaul

A modification on the Player's Inventory Panel and Playable Character's Base data, to add a set of visual only equipment (Cosmetic Slots) and swap function for armors (default hotkey is "a").

Works perfectly on Single Player mode but in Multiplayer mode, cosmetics (visual armor look) will appear random but can be forced by swapping weapons/armors

Not compatible with Brother-in-Arms mod, use ESO with Compatibility instead

If you like ESO and also like the 20-Page Stash mod, use Super Inventory Panels instead

How about T2 Essentials' Inventory Upgrade with ESO or Overlay Stats display with ESO on D3 look?

  • Cosmetic Slots - a set of armor equipment slots that only serves as visual customization and equipment's benefits will not affect the character.
  • Swappable Armors - a set of hidden equipment slots that can be accessed by switching them to your current armor set interchangeably, just like with weapon swapping.
  • Stash Switch - is an added button at the upper right side of player's inventory panel, to be able to access your 20-Page Stash anywhere. Buy. sell, or shared stash transfer directly to Player's Stash!
  • Smart Tabs - is an added function to all inventory tabs' hotspots, this will allow automatic selection of a particular unselected tab, to make life easier and prevent so much button clicking. (i.e. if you get the hang of it, turn it off if you can't)
  • Compatibility with Brother-in-Arms: Warbounds mod to make the human companion be able to use cosmetic slots too.

Important Notes
  • Weapon Swap buttons ("I" and "II") have been changed to avoid issues using two swap functions
  • Cosmetic Slots are hideable in the Panel

This is a severed piece of my Torchlight II UI + ESO mod.

The term "Cosmetic Slots" came from this mod by the same name. Credit goes to Breck for bringing this concept to the workshop.

I would also like to credit steffire3 for introducing me to mods such as Cosmetic Slots that lead me to an overhaul idea for equipment slots.

Sh**....but manageable.

For clarification: Weapon Swap function has a default hotkey of "W", a quick double press of this button is as easy as resummoning a Healing Bot, easier in fact.

Disclaimer: The coding done on this mod cannot have been done better as far as I know, what bugs it cause are not of mod's design but of game's limitation.

No. Can't be f***ed screwing around with that every time I change zones. Good for single, sh** for multi.

@November commenter: Based on other subscribers' feedback, this mod is manageable in multiplayer mode. Just quickly swapped weapons to refresh your visual look.

@September commenter: I hope you made your merged mod possible and as always, being credited is flattering but my mods are allowed to be explored and improved upon by anyone.

This doesn't work in multiplayer and after fiddling with unequipping and re equipping to the cosmetics slots and finally getting it to show up for the other players the moment you go to another zone I appear as if I'm wearing nothing again to the other players. Works fine in single player.

Hey, sorry to keep bothering you, but one last question - since the mod you linked also merges a bunch of other UI mods, is it alright for me to make my own mod that just merges this and the Synergies UI? I'll credit you of course :)
the electric version Sep 17, 2017 @ 9:59am
Okay, I'll give that a try. Thank you! :)

Unfortunately, you can't have cosmetic slots without modifying the player's inventory menu. I have my own version of the player's inventory menu, Cosmetic Slots mod have its own player's inventory menu, TL2 Essentials mod have its own player's inventory menu, and Synergies mod have its own too.

What you desire, is to have a cosmetic slots in the player's inventory menu of Synergies mod.

My suggestion to you, if you want the synergies' inventory because of the pages, you can try Dracos UI Merger mod which have the inventory pages and my ESO in it.

Well I like the other features of the mod but they're not compatible with Synergies, it seems. And the Cosmetic Slots mod also alters the inventory in addition to the Cosmetic Slots themselves, so I imagine it'd have the same problem.

Is there any reason why other features of this mod is too troublesome for you? You are allowed to not use features that you don't like, you can even turn off the function for Smart Tabs and Stash Switch.

Also, if you desire to have the cosmetic slots' function only, can you tell me why the Cosmetic Slots mod is not enough for that?
